Hello Clan Wars players,

We're back to testing out some massively reworked maps from the recent 9.1 update. Both Tundra and Arctic Region underwent some major terrain redesigns, and we want to see how your strategies have changed!

Changes since previous Exhibitions:

  • The battles on the final day will now begin at 5:00 PM instead of 4:30 PM
  • To help combat no-show teams, in order to get the 1,000 Gold prize for making it to round 2, you will now need a total of at least 7 points during group play.

Register for this tournament!

Each Clan is ONLY allowed to submit ONE team.

All players on each team MUST be in the Clan represented by the tournament team.

Prizes

1st: 80,000 Gold

2nd: 40,000 Gold

3rd/4th: 20,000 Gold

5-8th: 10,000 Gold

In addition, all teams that make it to Day 2 (the top 40) and accumulate a total of at least 7 points in the group stages will receive 1,000 Gold.

Note: All prizes are awarded to the Clan Treasury.

Its a clan wars exhibition so there isn't any tier or type allowance or restriction. One spot is for an observer, so its your best 14 for the map you are fighting. Expect clans to field full tier X teams.

If we create a team, is our whole clan automatically registered?  Or do we need to have everyone register on their own?

There are 86 reserve spots available.

Also,  the link on the tournament page to the Forum Discussion is broken....

1. Once you create a team, your clan is NOT automatically registered. Each player will need to sign up on their own.

2. Thanks! The link to the forum discussion has been fixed :honoring:

Thanks for the quick response!!

I forgot one question though.

How many battles will be fought in round 1?

I know that it largely depends on how many teams you have sign up, but are we looking at 5, 10?

From my past experience in the Kharkov and Pearl River events, it seems to be around 8-10 teams per group.

Holy crap, only thirty teams? What a colossal failure. WGA you really need to figure out a way to make these tournaments not a waste of time. NTR reliably makes the last day of these things, the gold is just barely worth it if we get second. For a clan that isn't so fortunate, the exhibitions are just a waste of time and credits. Suggestion: aggressive first day culling, resulting in 16 or 24 teams, and the second group stage being four groups of four, or four groups of six. Way less time and credits invested and far more competitive atmosphere. Cutting to the top forty is just silly since there are maybe thirty clans that can even field a full competitive team on the NA server.

If you are going to show up with 4 tanks, please reconsider. Just don't show up at all. Stop wasting everyone's time.

In fact, don't show up unless you have ten tanks. You might win with ten tanks with tight play and a good strat. If you don't even have enough HP to survive one volley from the enemy team, you aren't winning, so just go away.

It is incredibly hard to come across as worse people than RELIC. Congratulations, you've achieved quite a feat. Please stop being awful people now.

So on the video description you say you deliberately brought those tanks to troll and annoy RELIC then get butthurt in this thread when you got the reaction you wanted.

Teams like yours should be banned from tournies for intentionally wasting peoples time.

Apologies to havok, jimbo, and apocalypse for no showing but we got chip spammed in cw so had to pull everyone for that.

On another note does anyone else think WG needs to get fog of war implemented in these?  I wanted to try something but unfortunately when your whole line up is visible at the start the other team can basically figure out a better way to play you.

The only party poopers were you, almost every other group we faced at least tried to bring a full team/gud fites, and we had a blast. if you're not even gonna try and win, why even join the tournament? All I see was that it was a massive waste of time for you guys, and we were too busy laughing at your stupidity that most of us didn't even bother to shoot you, and entertained ourselves by ramming you to death.

actually every battle but relic we tried our hardest knowing only 9 of us remembered to show up and we did have a couple close matches, but we had this plan to do this from the very start, if we fought relic we were going to [edited]off because we know when it comes to sportsmanship they are biggest [edited]in this game, so we trolled them and had fun doing it.  Now seeing the responses from Relic members is exactly what i expected from them.

thank you guys for being predictable.

Re-read your post, and then ask yourself this, why does RELIC act like they do....

actually, we're pretty good about giving props to people who play well, which in your case, you deserve any crap anyone throws at you. we won a couple of our exhibition matches without full teams vs full teams. just goes to show how hard you tried twied.
