It is not cheating. Since the A shaped reticle built into the game actually tells you whether you can damage a spot on a tank (green), or might be able to (orange), or most likely won't (red) then this is the same as that. Also I tried the other one from beta of this skin and I learned where to hit from friends more than this. Long range you can't tell or see the hit zones, and close range you are usually moving too much for it to be of use.

I would consider this as an unfair advantage

I demand this is removed from the forums and all other forms of this cheating/exploits

It's not a cheat. It's simply a skin that shows weak spots. Changing a skin really does nothing to help you, except an aim guide. and unless you can visually see the tank, you can't use them (eg. shooting through a bush makes these irrelevant).

EDIT: oh, and it's not an unfair advantage because EVERYONE can get their hands on them. ANYONE can use these skins. It would be unfair is say, only developers and moderators had the ability to use said skins. (just throwing out an example, nothing is meant by it.) THAT would be an unfair advantage.

As it is...

Long range it's a good shot if you hit the tank AT ALL.

Medium range it's a good shot if you can hit a specific LARGE area of the tank e.g. track area instead of turret.

Close range is not about good shots. You get two equal tanks knife fighting it's the best defensive driver that wins. You force someone to waste a shot, you get one free.

not a cheat, but definitely underhanded/cheap/abusive i think. the best way to learn weak spots is by playing the game. in a way, this is actually a complete joke, and really is more of a crutch than an aid. the penetration indicator already tells you if you can damage a targeted area. then a hit on one of these spots (when you are perpendicular to the sides, front or rear since the modules are internal and 3d) highlighted by this mod  gives a chance (module HP, shot dispersion, penetration all factor in) of module damage.  this multi-colored disaster is of hardly any worth to anybody who is at all experienced with the game.  

i love how these skin packs are for newbies but always feature T6+ vehicles.  whatever....

i respect he authors time and effort, but this really kills the spirit of skin creation.  we are allowed to alter these things and should be creating content to enhance the visual experience for ourselves, not trying to eek out every perceived minute advantage...especially when it isnt really an advantage at all.  play and learn, dont rely on this. my guess is, if you need this, then you arent a very good player and this wont help much.  weak.

folks it's not cheating nor underhanded if it complies with the rules of the game. some folks may not like it, but it's a lot like arty; it's in the game, so deal with it

I seem to remember reading a post by a Mod that this is ok, But as a previous poster stated, there really only useful to bush campers. And we all know what happens to them shortly after being lit up

I like to look at the pretty pictures of the weak spots on the tanks, but I will not download the skins. I play the game to blow up nice looking tanks in realistic-looking environment. Pink, blue and red spots on the enemy tanks would detract from my fun in too many ways. I would rather look at pictures of weak spots, try to remember them and hopefully hit a few during a battle.
