OK I had version 1.5 of the colorblind mode installed in my game files. downloaded the patch and played my 1st battle and the enemy icons were no longer blue instead they were red. So i re-installed the mode into my WoT game and tried another battle. Same results. Now the game is unplayable to me because I cannot see the enemy. Is there a fix to this or do I just need to move on to something else?

I'm pretty dependant on this mod too. I'm also aware that the new patch has only just been released, so I'd give the developer(s?) time to fix this.

... unless wargaming found it in their 'best interests' to render mods like this unusable.

wtf kind of statement is this. What kind of "interest" would they have that would lead them to make a game unplayable to people who are colorblind. They probably just forgot because it looks like there are like two of you?

Don't freak out too much, the patch did just come out today,  you know.

Honestly there would have never been a mode created if there were just 2 of us. DUH use your brain before you post a stupid reply

I wonder if the new teamkiller designation (which is blue) is causing issues with the colorblind mod? I replied in that thread if they realized that by making the teamkiller blue, they are taking away the option for people who use the colorblind mod to differentiate between enemy & teamkiller and essentially making teamkillers appear as enemies.

I haven't tried playing yet (at work), but am curious how the colorblind mod will work.

There are tons of colorblind players, myself included, who could not play the game without the colorblind mod and if this latest release has done something to prevent it from working, then I essentially can  not play the game.

Anxious myself to see if the mod still works for me.  Without it I can't see the red in the trees/bushes.  :(

BTW - This is also being discussed in the main gameplay channel here

A fix appears to be available - but no longer blue, it's purple? Not sure if this will work for us colorblind people - I won't be able to test out till tonight after work.

GOd people annoy me sometimes.  I am colorblind.  8% of the male population is colorblind.  I wish more debvelopers took that into account, and I am glad to hear there is a mod out there to try to help us out.

Well, since only a TK on your team would turn Blue... and be fair game and able to be shot by you and anyone on your team without penalty, he basically IS the enemy... so red or blue... effect is the same...

I was thinking more along the lines of them making the game just a little bit harder to decode/unravel/reverse engineer.

Besides, I'm pretty sure they could add some sort of toggle/switch in the graphics section, to alter the relevant colours. But that'll require them listening to the forums, at least. Therefore, they have limited/no real interest on this matter.

I've been away from the game for several months cause I was frustrated with shooting my own teammates due to my red-green colorblindness.  Has any fix been developed to address the situation?
