The museum guns were really reminiscent of my NJROTC  bolt action rifle (not a color guard rifle, the ones you could actually shoot, though similar) though I know they're not the same, since the ones we shot were .22's. We HAD a few m1's and first army piss pots and stuff.... Shrug.. Kind of curious if anyone can tell me what our 80's/90's .22's were...

Saw one or two guys who clearly experienced "M1 Thumb"....well, "M1 Finger" anyway.....

 

I have a Garand and a Carbine...they are wonderful rifles.
