Cannot see enemy or allied tanks

I have my father playing the game and he cannot see some allied or enemy tanks after the game starts at point blank range. IT is very strange its not camo either he can see tread marks and run into them and they appear red but he cannot actually see the other tanks. The computer is easily capable of playing the game and is far better than the one I play on and do not have said problems. If anyone knows any fixes for this it would be great.

For me, this issue fixed itself the second match I played.

Yes exactly and yes I fixed it with a shutdown and restart because it happened 3 matches in a row. Now its all good though.

I had invisible tanks until I updated my Nvidia drivers to ver. 270.61

im on windows 7 64 bit with a ATI radeon 6870 graphics card same problem but will not go away in full high graphics settings

Turning off Texture Compression worked for me on my HD5770
