So i just started playing, played a training round or two, and moved on to matchmaking. For some reason, I cant hit ANYTHNG, and their's an odd twitch in my Ltraktor's turret (cant aim from 0-5 degress off horizontal). Any tips?

This game is not like Tank Ace, when you shoot, stop moving and wait for the circle become smallest, then shot. And don't expect accuracy on low tier (especial tier 1) at long range battle.

Don't shoot while moving and wait for the green circle to shrink onto the target.
The twitching can be a result of aiming to low into the ground, it gets harder to avoid if you are zoomed out, try using sniper mode (shift key) to get the same view as your gunner.

Also, is there any way to avoid getting one-shotted by medium/heavy tanks? Or should i just deal with it?

Which gun are you using? If you're using the 2cm KwK 38 l/55, then you certainly will not hit anything at range. It is accurate to .59 meters at 100m (e.g. the radius of your aiming circle is .59m on a flat surface 100m away). This is horrendously inaccurate; A gun that intends to be used at long range should be at max .4. With less accurate guns you will have to get much closer.

I don't get what you mean by "an odd twitch"

"training battles" are poorly named. They're actually just custom battles for people who want to set up a specific fight. The point of using the matchmaker is that you will not be put into games where stuff will regularly one-shot you. In a leichtetraktor, you will only ever face up to tier 2 light tanks (which certainly can't one-shot you). That said, there will always be games where you are not top dog (just as there will be games where you will be up top). Skill in WoT is largely about positioning yourself in such a way that you don't have to engage in a stand up fight against stuff that's bigger/more numerous than you, and denying that opportunity to the enemy.

I am guessing here at what you mean, but do you mean that you move your crosshairs and the marker that indicates where your actual gun is pointed doesn't move at first but then will suddenly snap to the position your crosshairs are at?

If so, this happens when you are out of sniper mode and dealing with some sort of obstruction in the way such as a hill top, building, etc. You can go into sniper mode (shift and/or scroll middle mouse-wheel) to get a smooth movement regardless of obstructions.

A crew at 50% won't hit the ground.

Accuracy improves with crew skill.

I'm not sure about that, gun dictates accuracy, crew skill only decides how fast you aim it.

That's how I understand it also...

Gunner

These tankers are responsible for aiming and firing the vehicle's gun. They affect the speed at which a gun will zero-in on its target, with more competent gunners able to zero-in at a faster speed, resulting in a lower aim time.

but still... being able to get on target quicker is indeed a good thing... and a 50% is lagging (no reference to lag intended... ;) ) behind a bit...
