Hi i would like to transfer my account from the NA server to the EU server because the NA server doesnt have an adequate amount of players for proper MM at times.  Theres barely a player base on the NA server and most people i know who play frequently play on the EU server even if their not from Europe.

Or what they should do is just combine the two together and be done with it....  Just tap us all in together.  Plenty of population then.

 

There is another game, that allows you to transfer to any server that you want too...  Can't mention it here....

or wait until WG finally implements server roaming. As far as I know, CW won't be an option though, with a NA account on e.g. the EU server.

Server roaming however might be implemented in this millenium or the next. Who know's.....

 

Apart from the above: it's useless to post a request like yours here on the forum; proper way is to send in a ticket to WG (but bear in mind, atm it's a waste of time).

@OP, at this time there is no server transfer service, trust me I know, im waiting for it also. 

 

@Andrewm55, Having more than one account on a server is fine as long as they only have one ACTIVE account. And making a new one on another server is perfectly fine and not frowned upon at all.

@JDF, @Tolos. Thanks i will create a ticket with WG, worth a try i guess.

 

@valkyrie451 Glad im not alone lol,  its crazy how much better the EU server is.  I agree they should disband the NA server and merge it with the EU server.

many players including me, want to be transferd to EU, because of the time gap ( we cannot play CW and other tournaments) also because of the high ping, but u seem to do it for the wrong reason... anyway WG have to look at this matter asap as there is  a growing number of players who want to b transfer for the RIGHT REASONS at least.

Didn't say it was impossible, I said it would be bad, the declining population as you put it only gets worse if more people swap over to the eu server, and the problem here  is connectivity.

@Andrewm55. True everyone transferring off the NA server is not good for it, but i dont plan to continue playing on the NA server regardless.

@Tiger131ace I think my reasons are correct and enough. Depending what time of the day you play on the NA server there is barely anyone on.  I fail to see how your reasoning about CW and tournaments are correct when there is barely a player base to begin with.  Once you go to the EU server you dont wanna go back :)

Just a few things WG needs to to do:

1. Allow server roaming.
2. Multi-core support!
3. Perhaps a South/Central America server.
4. Server roaming & multi-core support!

The only server transfers they have done since the game launched where the 5 transfers to the SEA server when they needed players for that server, they have yet to do a transfer to the EU server heck they told us last year we would have roaming by december 2013 then it was early 2014 now it looks like we wont get it until maybe 2015

@x79ftw: Tickets have been send in before, but you can bet on it your account will not be transferred to the EU server.

 

@Andrewm55: That might be the exact reason why transfers to EU server so far never have been given as an option. NA has a pretty low population already and since there are even clans specificly started to show WG they want a server switch (like NA2EU) and all the topics made in the past (and still are made) about a transfer, I think WG will not be very eager to fulfill such wishes.

 

I believe a merger of the servers will never happen. Problem would be the players on the NA server having the same ingame name as players on the EU server. How to solve that? Only option would be to add something like _NA and/or _EU to the players name, but not sure if that would make the playerbase happy.

server roaming has been back burnered according to ftr, i wouldn't expect it anytime soon if at all. so WG should stop using that as an excuse to not transfer people.

So....instead of pleasing the users that like playing the game they rather have them deinstall the game? Keeping users trapped on a server isnt helping in improving game experience. I am trapped on NA servers because when I signed up there was no warning there was a EU server. To irritate me even further they keep warning me now.....after it is too late.....I think it is very user unfriendly not to transfer the users if they want to.

From FTR (oct. 9th):

- roaming was basically shelved, as during its development, it was discovered that it puts a lot of strain on main internet lines. It would cause high latency for all the players and some players would really be hurt by that.

 

Guess that puts an end on server roaming possibilities (at least for now, bu I'm afraid forever)
