That does clarify stuff quite a bit. The text was painfully confusing.

When is there going to be an update for World of Tanks Xbox 360 Edition?

about the reservist position,  can someone explain a bit about him

is he a member of the clan, a chip.  or is he just a person being used to fill a battle

can the reservist be a member of another clan, or does he have to be free , not a full member of any clan

can a reservist be a reservist for more than one clan, or are they limited to only one clan

I also think they should add the Sturmtiger, but nerf that sucker a bit, it might just need it 0_0

IMHO, bad solution. I will abstain on suggestion.

Thank you for the chart.

However I do not believe executive officers should be able to change the clan data that they didn't pay to create in the first place.

Should HT ever disband and I go back into my old home I will never place someone in executive position, it's far to risky considering these are all random people online.

I agree with this part ONLY the commander should be privileged enough to change clan data such as modifying the clan name, tag, icon, description, motto or color. I mean I consider the people in my clan as friends but there is still the conscious speaking in the back of my mind telling me - Hey you don't really know this person...I would not be able to trust anyone enough to give them this much "power".

It is an option to move Executive Officers to Personnel Officers.  They are without the  Clan Data Modification permissions and a some Strongholds adjustments.

The text is unclear as to whether this does or doesn't fix matchmaking.

Not particularly seeing the point to all this.

If you were going to re-do this I think simply having commanders able to name and define their own ranks (or just have a set of flags on each member, one per privilege, and the 'rank' just a string that can be set per member).

Also, these changes don't seem to address the one and only problem I've seen with ranks recently, that being only commanders and dep coms and manage strongholds or even use reserves. As it stands NTR has maxed out reserves for all our structures and cannot store any additional industrial resource because only a couple people in the entire clan can use them (and they aren't on 24/7).

When reading this my only thought was "why?".

This was the only thing I was expecting and we seem to be missing.  It's kinda a big thing.  We build them quicker than we can ever utilize them already and then to top it off, we either have to have a select few people enable it for us or else we can't use them. Quite a letdown to hear this lack of support at this juncture (should've been the number one thing added with any rank changes).

The Old system wasn't broken.. it actually worked fairly well  so why [insert expletive here] are we trying to fix it?

I like it, i mean its unnecessary but it makes things a bit more official than titles on a TS server. Plus the renaming of the old positions are a bit more in line with actual military ranks.

Please remove the combat and personal officer's ability to assign ranks. Thr point of the personal officer to me seems like an executive officer who can't access treasury. Giving him and the combat officer the ability to change one's rank to quartermaster kinda ruins the point.

At the very least make Quartermaster only assignable by other people who can assign gold (Co, Executive).

Ok, I can see adding new ranks with various powers from time to time.

But please, someone, explain to me the reasoning behind renaming ranks that the community has already used for three years?  I can't even call people by whatever their fourth rename is, and usually refer to them as the username they held when I met them.

How about just allowing commanders to assign permissions to the ranks as they see fit? XOs can do the same but only to members of lowers ranks.

Hey folks,

Here's a new/updated Permissions table that should clear up some of the confusion between ranks (I've also edited the OP to include this info).

Note: As Strongholds continues to improve and add new features, they will be added to this table in the future.

Note 2: Even though the permissions for it are present on this table, we currently have no intention of activating the "Subversions" feature on the Global Map on the NA server.

Will executive officers be able to manage strongholds?

What does the table say? It says they can do everything but create/destroy a stronghold.
