I am having a hard time right now. My Ausf. A sucks and gets blown up all the time, and is not earning any credits or experience, so I can't advance.
What is the easiest way to earn lots of credits and experience?

How are you playing it?  If you're trying to battle bigger tanks, you'll get killed.  Depending on the situation, you either need to use the speed to scout, trying to stay invisible to the enemy or safe from their shots in the process.  Otherwise, try taking longer shots and moving to avoid the early deaths.

Two solutions. Suicide scout rush to light up the enemy and maybe pop off a shot or two. This nets about 300-500 exp and about 5-8k credits.

Option two and my personal favorite. Shadowing. What you do is be a heavies shadow and whenever it engages a target, you load up HE ammo and hound that enemy. While its busy with the heavy, you can be on its side or rear plugging it with HE rounds and doing lots of damage. It works well with those pesky low tier tanks that are hard to grind (A-20 comes to mind)

I think the lvl 4 and 5 tiers are the most money makers.

If you don't want to pay for prem just free play get at lest tier 5 tank people call them credit farmers.

I did a quick search turned up this  credit framers

just do a credit Framer search that will help you.

Is the marder a good credit farmer?

PzIV is a great credit farmer.  It means that almost no matter what you do, you're going to earn credits.  I'm assuming you're not just joining the game and leaving, or using other shady tactics.  Even when I die early in my PzIV, I'm earning a minimum 200 xp and 2k in credits.  Probably averaging 3-5k per game, with the occasional 10k+.

I am using both a Marder and a Hetzer right now (Kept the marder to help farm credits cause the Hetzer took forever to get viable), and I make a decent amount of money/xp. A decent match is 300xp/5k credits, and I've made over 8k on good matches. Not as much as higher tier tanks, and my Hetzer has now caught up and is doing better, but it's decent.

No! I never do that! I'm just playing the game like everyone else. I can't get to the Pz IV becuase I am stuck with this crappy Ausf. A and a Marder. I also have a 35t.

Just keep grinding.  Frustrating as hell in the process, but those of us in higher tiers (at least those of us in standard accounts) went through it.  Find a strategy that gains you higher xp and credits, yet be flexible to adjust depending on where your tank ranks in the game.  Also, I have 4 tanks I run.  I like to use the Tiger whenever I can, but use the PzIV often.  Also in a tier 3 U.S. tank that's nearing upgrade to tier 4, and have one arty (priest) I use on occasion.  Once you get killed, unless you're absolutely needed for intel, move to the next battle and pull out a tank that's likely to make you xp and credits.

Ok guys, thanks for the tips. I feel grinding would make more credits than not. :)

Your most reliable path to cash is how much damage you can dish out in a fight.   Damaging enemies gives you a 10% bump per tier above you.  Each vehicle has a hidden coefficient that adjusts this further.   And then finally, you have the 50% premium bonus.

With this in mind, you want to do the following:

1)  Get a vehicle that is up-gunned for it's tier.  (This is a vehicle that mounts a gun of higher tier than itself)
2)  Focus on damage, not kills
3)  Focus on surviving as long as possible, damaging everything you can (Don't rush or lead charges)
4)  Try to hunt up-tier targets by following behind and shadowing your higher-tier heavier friendlies.
5)  Make sure you have Premium

This is why the KV w/107 is a good credit farmer  (Tier 5 tank, Tier 7 gun, good survivability).  Almost the same with the PzIV (Tier 5 tank with a Tier 6 gun)     The Marder is Tier 3 with a Tier 5 gun.

The problem is, when you play and eventually die there is credit going to repair your tank so, you are losing out when you die especially in the higher tier tanks where it can cost over 5k to fix your tank and over 2 to 5 k to resupply your ammo.

What I like to do is jump into one of the beginning 3 tanks and play like 5 or 6 games.  You ask why, well, those tanks get repaired for free.  All you have to pay for is resupplying ammo.  If you lose the match, you get around 1k in credit, if you win, you get around 2k in credit.

5 games of losing, that is 5k in credit, 5 games of winning, that is 10k in credit.

Also, you get additional credit added when you damage enemy tanks, protect a base that is getting captured, spot enemy tanks, and take part in a successful uninterrupted base capture.

Having many tanks elited or premium is the easiest way.  The more tanks you havemeans the more daily doubles "1st battle bonuses" you can earn.  Sure it will cost gold to convert that EXP but when you are trying to go up the ladder "or multiple ones" like I do, you will need all the EXP you can get.  Remember though, Don't stray to far off over the tier Vs or VIs, things start to get pricey on repairs and gold the farther you go up.  Here is a list of descent money makers for starters:

Any Gold Premium Tanks
Hetzer
StugIII
SU-85
SU-100
VK3601H
SPGs tier 6 and under "any tree"
Any Sherman tanks

I am sure there are more, but these have done me right so I am sharing the wealth with you.  I hope this helps.

Without premium tanks that marder II you have is going to be your best pall forever. Elite it out, stay still and blast away damaging anything you face with ease.

Just make sure you do not move unless you are certain you are save as it cannot take much if any fire in return being a td.

That's a bit of a vague question, since there's 5ish categories of tank (light, medium, heavy, SPG, TD) and several tiers for each. It's like asking if cow tastes good. There's a huge difference between filet mignon and McDonald's.

To answer you though, I like the German tanks I've played, which are mostly TDs.

Oh and about the Lowe...I have murdered a few of those already. Premium tank=/= win. Good player in premium tank does. Good player in a NON-premium tank does. Skill and teamwork win over numbers every day.

I have a stock gun on the Marder but that shouldn't last long.   :Smile-playing:
What premium tank should I consider buying though?
