Shame they closed the shop down. I think they made replica Tiger 1's for like $1,000,000

The MV business is a tough one to make any form of a living in, unless you have a large reserve to float between projects, it's very "hand-to-mouth", because many owners are willing to let them sit unrepaired or partially restored til they feel like spending money on them again.

Both. A lot of people treat them like recreational vehicles, and since they are not an "important" vehicle or daily driver, they figure they can let them sit.

And yeah, a lot of them are "rich guy decided to spend his money on a new boat this month instead of paying that guy who works on his Jeep".

 

Then they wonder why I don't want their business anymore.
