I've been playing for a few weeks and kind of assumed that i would eventually pick up on how to say "help", "back to base", "attack so and so", "follow me", "affirmative", "negative", etc. etc.

It's obvious players aren't typing in these words but hitting a single key or keys for these 'quick commands'.

How does one do this?

Thanks in advance for any help!

press F1 in your ingame interface, it has a list of the F keys and their messages.

really?  I've tried the 'F' keys but nothing ever happens.  I'll try again tonight and see if I can get something to happen when pushing those 'F' keys.  Thanks for advice!

Most people ignore those 'canned spam' radio messages anyway, because there is always someone sending them at odd times (boy who cried wolf, and all that).

Silly question... any way to "edit" those quick commands??  They're in the preferences.xml file towards the bottom of it...

Be nice to personalize them to suit Plt runs and such like that... just wondering if anyone has tried or even if it's possible or not.
