Group Stage Standings

Basic Tournament Information for Skirmish 43

Please see tournament page for all information

  • Team Size: 7 combatants + 3 reserves
  • Map: Ensk
  • Mode: Encounter
  • Tier Point Limit: 56
  • Tier Limits:
    • This represents the max tier allowed. Teams are allowed to bring lower tiers.
    • Light: Tier 8
    • Medium: Tier 8
    • Heavy: Tier 8
    • TD: Tier 8
    • SPG: Tier 8
  • Special Restriction:
    • No more than 3 tanks from any nation.

Skirmishes now have three days of group play (Monday-Wednesday) followed by a playoff (Friday-Sunday). Teams can choose to play only in the weekend playoff or participate in group play for better seeding and greater prizing.

After completing group play, a standings table will sort all teams across all groups based on points earned against points possible. Prizes are awarded at completion of group play to teams finishing in the top half of the standings. These teams qualify for the Alpha Playoff. All remaining teams qualify for the Bravo Playoff.

Alpha Playoff

  • This playoff consists of the top 50% of group play teams who will play for a larger prize pool. Group play performance will determine playoff seeding.

Bravo Playoff

  • This playoff consists of all remaining teams and includes teams registering solely for the weekend. These teams will compete for a smaller prize pool and the playoff brackets are not seeded.

Both the Alpha & Bravo Playoffs will use multiple brackets holding a maximum of 16 teams. This means multiple winners are awarded prizing for their standing in their respective bracket.

Just want to clarify, since it's listed repeatedly under each vehicle type on the tourney info page;

Is the 3 per nation limit overall for the whole team, or just per tank type?

Its simple you cant have four IS-3s - that is more than 4 of same nation

and you cant have two 1390 and two 50 100 - more than 4 of the same nation

or a combination of IS-3, T-54 Light, KV4, and KV5 at the same time - more than 4 nation

Question about the battle times. On the information page it lists battle times in Daylight Savings. However, daylight savings ends this weekend before the skirmish begins. So I want to confirm if times are really Daylight savings or if they will be standard times?

Yes it can be thought of pretty simple, but as he posted they listed it next to each Tank Class when typically they list them underneath for absolute restrictions, so I find his question to be very valid. As it reads now It says to me that you cant have more than 3 heavies from the same nation and 3 lights from the same nation but combined 3 and 3 is ok. WG Defiantly needs to clearify this one.

I agree it needs to be clarified,It is just weird to have it in each class, its much less of a restriction with only a 7 man team.

To be safe just bring in three IS-3s, two 50100  and a combination of two lights/mediums from different nations other than Russia 1390/wz/ru251/t49/t69.

or three IS-3s, three 50 100 and a light/med from a nation other than Russia and France ru251/wz/t49/t69

If you guys want to camp a bit more, JP2 or Rhm on a Line 1 and 0 is also a nice addition.

I asked for clarification. The deal is you can only have a max of 3 tanks per nation - this is across ALL the tanks, not just within a tank type. My next stop is to add that clarification to the tournament page :)

Start time will remain the same - 7 pm Pacific. I'm guessing when the tournament page was made, he didn't realize that Daylight Savings ending this weekend.

Hey I have a few questions about this. First, I sent off my team for approval on November 1st. Pending approval still but the the tournament starts tonight. Second, how do I make reserves? Is that after my team gets accepted? Sorry, first tournament.

Hi!

Teams are in Pending Approval until after Registration is closed. I just got in to the office, so teams should be accepted shortly.

If you have a full team (10 players), then 7 players are active and 3 are reserves. The terminology is really just to say how many players can go in to battle (actives) and how many extra players can be on the team in case someone doesn't show, needs to be replaced, etc. (reserves). It's up to the captain/battle caller to determine who plays. Does that make sense?

Hello dance,

I must say that for southamerican players (specialy Chile, Argentina, Uruguay) the new battle time has severely diminished the chances of playing skirmishes. First battle of today is 00:00 hours of tuesday for us. We are probably not participating because we all work or study.

If by any chance you can see this for future skirmishes we will be very grateful.

Thanks,

Logos.

As of 30 minutes prior to scheduled battle times, our team still shows "Pending Approval" with no battles scheduled.

What gives?
