Poll: Let's put a Newcomers' Forum link in our garage. (60 members have cast votes)

Would you like to see a direct forum link in our garage..?

  1. Yes, I think this link would be a great idea! ...especially for our newer players (46 votes [76.67%] - View)

    Percentage of vote: 76.67%

  2. No. I like having poor quality games, and I don't want our new players learning how to get better (14 votes [23.33%] - View)

Something that I have been requesting for a while. Would love to see this in our game.

OK PizzaStorm, Admin, I have been starting to Twitch Post my Winning Videos for being something like a guide for new tankers to get use to the game, Yes I am one to complain alot getting under peoples skins but I do have my good wins.   Tonight I posted a video of me playing WOT and the second video was me winning a match at Westfield.   Like everyone I have my good days and bad days playing WOT.

Well, to be fair to our developers at Wargaming.net...they are trying....{I hope}, although I really have no way of knowing...

*I did suggest a very similar thread topic to this one ...almost a year ago....and I still haven't seen any progress made on it...

Iron Soul Stealer.....I certainly hope so too if not then what RL Real Time Vidoes I can post on Twitch should show the Good and the Bad of the game as well as my frustration at those that make this a bad game that I would not recommend to anyone.   Unless if they like playing 40 games and only winning perhaps 12 of them from the Invisatank Seal Clubbers of the Higher Tier Clans.

Good idea.  But, it will never get implemented.  Why you ask?  Because a player on NA suggested it.  Not some WG staff member, but someone on forums. And, you know as well as I that the ideas here stay here and die here.

I guess we need to create accounts on the RU forums and suggest it in Russian.

Ever pressed a doorbell button that doesn't actually ring a bell somewhere? Ten minutes of waiting and wondering if anyone even knows you're standing there. Finally you walk away, feeling like an idiot, and on the other side of the peep-hole someone whispers "Good - he's gone. I didn't think he'd ever leave!"

I wonder how many posts in the Suggestions forum end this way.

Got hit in the track and it damaged my ammo rack and this is the answer I got..........So it does not matter where you hit a tank it is just the roll of the dice what happen to it. Really???????

How does getting hit in the track damage my ammo rack??????

    Dear slashngut21,

Thank you for contacting World of Tanks Support.

It is possible, yet unlikely for a shell to hit a track and continue through to the ammo rack, just as it is possible for multiple modules to be damaged through a "Spalling" effect.

RNG, or the "random number generator" is actually that, random!

When a tank fires, basically, it is as if you are rolling a set of dice in a tabletop Roleplaying game within a set of factors including but not limited to:

    1) Motion of your tank and the enemy vehicle,
    2) Respective angles of armor
    3) Accuracy of the gun
    4) Skill of the crew,
    5) Penetrative possibility of the shell.

All of these factors contribute to the roll.

We hope that this clears things up for you, and that you will not hesitate to contact us with any future issues you may encounter.

    Best Regards,
    Daniel Massey,

That camo thing {camo mechanics} is an entirely separate issue, dude. I suggest you read up on some guides.

Some people prefer discussion over tanking.  And if someone discounts a person's post solely on their battle count they are as foolish as those who argue with fallacies and breaks in logic.

There is no magical number of battles where one suddenly has knowledge worthy of listening to.

Hey aswitz, thanks for sharing ^that.

*And what I find puzzling here, are the people that continue to try and discredit my opinions, or say they don't matter because "I don't play the game enough". That is just ridiculous.

Of course I still believe in this game, and I plan on playing it again....just as soon as Wargaming.net starts taking a more serious approach at leveling the playing field. And to be fair to them,

they are on the right track...but they do have further to go. *Besides, if I didn't believe in this game, or simply gave up on it...why would I continue to waste my time posting here in this forum..?

That wouldn't make any sense...would it..? Nope, I'm in this for the long haul....however long it takes....and you can 'love me, or hate me', but I'm not going anywhere....

*My agenda, again...for the many members that clearly missed it: {except you, aswitz}

I like it. Been suggested before, though.

Still, a good idea is a good idea.

^..Yes... it was, and if you remember correctly...it was me that suggested it, over a year ago....

but unfortunately, my original thread was buried, and then archived/deleted from view, and I had to create another one..."how convenient"...

wouldn't it be easier to fix the disfunctional match maker? If u make fair fights then stats will go up but when u make teams that lose 15 to 3 in 4 minutes flat then stats aren't going to get any better.

This is something that should be brought up in its own topic or one of the topics about matchmaker.

...one thing at a time, dude....we'll get there...    ....and btw, ^that comment has absolutely nothing to do with this thread subject, or my suggestion. You've just thrown an apple into my basket of oranges.

*It's time for WG to put this direct 'Link to the Newcomers Forum', in our garage. Even something simple like this:

"Would you like to learn how to be a better tanker?"  '<Click Here>'  << *A player clicks the link, and another window is opened, and they are taken directly to the Newcomers Forum.

*Maybe it's time we got more players 'onboard' here....:B *I stand behind my Newcomers' Forum/Link suggestion.
