For one of the missions, one must deal and receive a combined total of 20K damage. Sounds tough right? Even a game such as this, which QB deems "the greatest T95 game of all time", would not qualify for the reward.

Maybe in RU servers or by rigging. If it were to include damage by assistance, that would be phenomenal.

that mission requires you be playing a heavy tank to get it anyway....

Utilize countdown platoons to get allies on the other team to fulfill absurd requirements

it's damn near impossible to do yourself, but with the power of abusing the matchmaker system, they are possible

 

- LT: deal 8000 spotting damage (secondary: get 5 spotting kills) use platoon and maus platoon on secluded part of the map
- HT: accumulate 20000 damage – either dealt yourself, or blocked by your armor, they add up (secondary: survive and win) Use Maus or heavy armor + Object 263's
- MT: destroy 3+ enemy TD’s, that are at least one tier higher than you (secondary: survive, win and deal 3k+ damage) if you're good this is not hard
- TD: deal 10000+ damage (secondary: destroy 5+ enemy tanks) use maus platoons + high alpha/high DPM TD
- Arty: be on first place in XP and damage dealt (secondary: survive) easy to do alone

I assume that ss was back when track hits counted.  Sidescrape in front of stupid enemy team, collect Steel Wall.

 

I can't WAIT to see the general playerbase trying for these every match at the expense of trying to win though.  Particularly the TD one.  You guys have fun in tier 10 with walls of 183s and Waffles trying for the 10k.

Before the server split and before the change from "damage from detecting" to "assistance damage" or something.

The whole point is to either end up by getting absurdly lucky one match, or just be really good at the game. 

 

Average players, or just players with terrible luck aren't allowed to have nice things in WoT.

The more I think about it the less trouble I think it will be. You'll see a lot of Maus and first thing I'll do when seeing one is to intentionally bounce a shot off of him. If he's a gentleman and gently strokes my upper plate with an AP round in return then we'll both be completing that mission...

 

No prearranged rigging, just two total strangers firing 10s of thousand of damage at each other using autoaim.

On a related note, I'm more interested in seeing the missions for the nice things that might actually be obtainable with supreme luck/count-ins/exploiting.  That T28 premium looks like the sort of TD I'd like, and I assume the StuG requirements will be laughable; at least they better be for a tier 5 TD with the L/48.

- LT: deal 8000 spotting damage (secondary: get 5 spotting kills) The kills part is not too hard if you are good at lights, but the 8k spotting is nearly impossible, when I first read the FTR post, I looked for replay with that amount for a half hour to no avail.
- HT: accumulate 20000 damage – either dealt yourself, or blocked by your armor, they add up (secondary: survive and win)  You don't need a tier 10 to do this, I think I have done it a few times by sidescraping with the KV-4.
- MT: destroy 3+ enemy TD’s, that are at least one tier higher than you (secondary: survive, win and deal 3k+ damage) This one looks pretty easy TBH.
- TD: deal 10000+ damage (secondary: destroy 5+ enemy tanks) This one will take some actual skill, but should be pretty easy in many T10s, I expect that some may be able to it in the SU-122-44 on a T9 match.
- Arty: be on first place in XP and damage dealt (secondary: survive) I find that this one may be difficult, either your team rolls before you can get good shots in, or you get top on a loss by death.
