autoaim_extended (Extended display indicator for autoaiming)

 

Current version 3.03 for [0.9.9] (17/07/2015)

Warning! Mod not worked, if found protanki virus in you mods list, sorry for it, but im not off this.

 

Description:

Extended display options when auto-aiming
  1. Display which tank you are auto-aimed on
  2. Alternate colored tank outline for targets in your FOV
  3. Colored glowing target highlighter
  4. If the target is out of sight, beyond the left or right edge of the screen, a direction indicator with the target range is shown
 
Display color can be changed in the configuration file.

Is this just autoaim or will it auto fire too like the prior version?

 

edit, loaded  very nice. it doesnt auto fire and seems like the legit version of the mod. FPS takes a beating though.

 

edit 2, can i get it to change from green to some other color when pen is possible? also my camera stays locked in sniper and doesnt automatically revert to first person view

when scrolling back with middle mouse button?

 

Should i post questions on RU rather?

it's posted in the official WoT forums.  It looks like it's just a mod to show you locked on a target and easier to follow when it moves out of site beyond the screen (beyond the screen which is key, not out of view range).

Autoaim is a standard feature in the stock WoT game.

this mod used standard autoaim fuctional, just if target is selected, mod highlight a target and nothing else.

But 3 version indications may be on in config, and color of indication change in xml config.

Recomendly to change xml, use Notepad++, its free

 

And also, fps is not changed, mod used python code, optimized for wot client

Updated to version 2.04
    Changed the protection of mod, load mods faster when you start the game.
    Added new script loader for mods, that shows the boot mode in each python.log

but inside the mod are files from 12th feb, looks like you udpated it, but forgot to rise version to 2.05?

You don't understand me probably. You updated your mod after I downloaded it as 2.04, same thing with Vehicle-Exp Extended. I have your original files from 11th feb and from 12th feb, they are different.

I get crashes to desktop (CTD) every few battles when using this modification

 

The CTD only happens when autoaim is on and the target is highlighted.

 

I like this modification but have stopped using it for this reason.

 Can you show your python.log and Influx_PS log via PasteBin or here using a 'Spoiler window' option?

 

If Spoter has evidence was what's going wrong, it will be easier and more convenient to find a solution to the problem(s).

 

Separately, are you certain your referring to only Spoter's autoaim_extend mod?

Or are you also using the autoaim_indicator mod concurrently?   Asking because Krzysztof_Chodak's autoaim_indicator mod has references to 0.9.6 still in its python code which has not been upgraded even now.

 

Note there are bugs known which can cause 'crash to desktop' by Wargaming's very own Patch 0.9.7 coding:

On May 4th at 1 PM ET, you stated that CTDs happen every few battles and thus, you stopped using the mod.

Later in that day, you stated that it has been days since your last crash.

 

Not trying to be a jerk - really I am not.  Many, many modifications have been on the update path.  XVM has been updated, sometimes multiple builds on a single day.  We've also had one [0.9.7.1] and now a second [0.9.7.2] micro-patch to the core client as well.

 

It could very well be that this particular modification is at the root of some of the CTDs.  Now that you've established some level of stability to your environment, perhaps adding in the mod, seeing if you crash and if so, providing a python log would provide some insight.

As I recall, I stopped using the mod late last Friday / early Saturday May 1/2. I didnt have a python log showing the crash to display on 4th May as I delete the log whenever I reload a new modpack so I can see what errors and warning it generates.

 

I've spent hours loading and unloading individual mods using the packs, and also using JSGME. After some days of that I was ready to just pass on the results and move on.
