This could be in a vehicle comparison thread but since the tanks are A ) Not out yet (T95) and B ) Haven't been re-tiered/readjusted (T30).  It's best suited to this small corner of the WoT Forums.

I'm going to list some pro's and con's of each tank.  This thread is just here to open a discussion on the two tanks.  Some of the pro's and cons are my opinions and are generally in line with the discrepancies/nuances that TD's and heavy tanks have.

T30

Pro's:
-Turret
-Hull down ability
-Higher speed
-Higher maneuverability
-Higher acceleration

Cons:
-Lower accuracy
-Higher aim time
-Slower reload
-Paper armor

T95 - Many of this is subjective but is gained through general TD stats.

Pro's:
-305 mm armor (Read: Load HE, you're not getting through this)
-More accurate 155 (I assume this will be the final gun)
-Higher RoF
-Lower aim time (Good thing)
-High pass-ability (Quad treads)

Con's;
-Incredibly slow
-Super-arty magnet
-No turret (prey to fast movers)

Opinion:  I'm not sure if they are going to have the same HP, but I have a feeling that the T95 will be either incredibly UP or OP.  I don't think they'll get it anywhere near right when it first comes out.  If the speed is that low, it needs to have super-acceleration to atleast get to max speed ASAP.  I think that in overall usefulness the T30 will eclipse it as it will be able to move around the battlefield much easier.  This allows flexibility.  Like the Maus, once the T95 sets out there's no going back.

I don't believe the T95 will be invulnerable from the front.  The cries of OP NERF IT NERF IT will be too loud.  It will most likely have the usual specific weaknesses.  Though if we're lucky they may be hard to hit.  Also, this thing NEEDS solid working camo.  It's big sure, but if spotting that tier 8 arty will probably one shot it.

Regardless, i will be getting this ASAP.

Dude the T95 will be a more extreme version of the maus... just harder to track, both are arty magnets, your dumb as hell to shoot it in the front... even more vunerable to mediums (if they get close)...

Idort, ever since the Maus got its side skirts fixed its really hard to kill, like if you compared it before patch the difference is xbox hueg. Ary tracking maus is uncommon now. This thing will be like the maus is like the pied piper, where ever you go, your team follows. so getting at its ass will easily be a issue.

Hence more extreme.
Oh and if you're going to call me an idiot, please spell it right.
Also... I take most of that statement from my expierence in CW.

Idort, im not calling you a idiot. Im poking fun a people who judge people as idiots just from a few things.

Idort? do you think anybody will actually misspell idiot?

That was a leak i believe, mods were just a bit slower to catch it that night.

Unless they somehow increased the turret traverse for the T30 td, it is also vulnerable to fast movers.  The pershing, t-54, and panther ii guns punch through the t30 hull for free.

Here's my take on the (TD) T30 and T95. Pure speculation

T30
HP: 1600-1700
Top Speed: 35kph
Traverse: 18 -> 22
Turret Traverse: 28
Starts with 120mm gun, upgrades to 155mm.

T95
HP: 1800-1900
Top Speed: 12kph
Traverse: 12 -> 16
Turret Traverse: 50 (Gun), 15-20 degrees to each side.
Starts with 105mm gun, upgrades to 120mm, then 155mm.

Same gun.
Same camo. (None)
Only weak spots on T95 will be hatches from the front, and down the gun barrel.
T95 will have nice gun depression, but not as good as T30.

I've been wondering the T95 is a Tier 9 TD right? When the T30 moves up to TD line does that mean it will replace the T95 or it became tier 10 TD? Or the T95 moved up to Tier 8?

The T30 will be a Tier 9 TD in its own line. The US will have TWO TD lines planned, the ones we're recieving in this patch is only the first of two TD lines. Thus the T30 is the Tier 9 TD for the second line, and the T95 will be the Tier 9 TD for the first.

So many questions on this forum could be answered if people just looked at the tech trees at http://game.worldoft...rt/ tank_trees/, but they are kind of hard to find.

Specifically the final US tech tree is at http://statcdn.world...ee_full_com.jpg. As LGear said, they will both be tier 9 TDs in separate trees.

It'd be a cold day in hell before they let an equivalent tank surpass an IS-7 /Russian bias (laugh)

I'm not bothered by tall tanks at all, in fact i see them as a blessing. They are not for the offensive player, but defensively you can hull down in so many more places.
