I hope that Canadian store cards will be included in the future. Would be a great way to use up leftovers that you wouldn't have bothered going to the original merchandiser for. Hmm, $15 bucks that you wouldn't use at all, or whatever gold it will bring. You will just waste that balance anyway, why not "waste" it on gold?

Right now this service is only available in the states.

I think the service is looking to expand in the future though.

Canada! Canada! Canada!

I have some gift cards sitting around...

People are complaining about the conversion.  You have to expect that it won't be all that great since the company that is accepting the Gift Cards and WG both have to make money off the deal.  Anyway, I personally think it's a great idea, especially if you spend most of your gift card, still have $10 on it, but nothing worth buying for what you have left on the gift card.  That $10 won't be going to waste.  Also, I got a Starbucks gift card this year, yet, there are no Starbucks within a 2 hour drive of where I live.  So yeah, would rather use it to get Gold in WoT than let it go to waste.

Wargaming sure seems to be on the ball with payment options and ways to suck every cent they can from their playerbase.  Too bad the return on our investments in this game seem to be more bugs, nerfs and crappy game experience (the higher tier games especially seem rarely entertaining).  I myself am for the first time letting my premium time elapse and taking a real break from spending.  I need to see real changes for the better happen in quality of gaming experience, instead of constant failed promises and poor performance.  I have bought several good games through steam for less than the price of one overpriced pixel tank which in the end I would likely be disappointed with.

How long will this last? Will it last forever? Or just like a few weeks?

Keep in mind that most stores will charge WG arm and a leg for conversion.

If you in a market for good deals Karma Koin is still the best for hiding your digital addiction from spouses that go over every line item on credit card statement.

I hear there are no plans to support rechargeable Whiners Card.

As far as I can see within the list of cards that are accepted, Itunes are not. There is a addendum in the post that looks like this.

  • Apple Store (not iTunes)  cards

This leads me to believe that no, you cannot use Itunes cards unfortunately.

Judging from what they've said, a long time. Rest assured a few years, or longer.

I think maybe if you guys posted the exchange rate on that page, it'd help a lot of people with the "sticker shock".

Yeah, guess I'll try buying Game of Thrones season 4 with it then. Thanks Obama.

Go to Target and buy a $50 Subway card..... you'll get the whole $50 and not $28.

Some of the gift cards that are said to be accepted are not an option when you go to the payment page

Buffalo wild wings is one of them.
