Jeez, what took longer: getting the tank or writing the guide? :teethhappy:

So is the next reward tank obtainable?

Good stuff! Now I'll have a list of the actual missions, and not failcrap like this:

Took me an hour wondering wthwas going until I googled and found a thread saying what the REAL mission was.

Depends on the list. That is my initial choice, depends what other rarities are on there.

About 2.5 - 3 hours

Could you post a list of what tanks you get to choose from? I'm curious as to what rare tanks are included.

That might be because of YasenKrasen. My missions were fixed (as far as I know) when I updated via the link in the notification box.

I take it the StuG doesn't get pref. matchmaking.

I've only played 2-3 battles in in. I believe it does though, as it has the short 75, with 110 pen.

Very useful guide, however my SPG-8 doesn't match yours.  This is what you have for SPG-8:

SPG-8

  • Cause at least 1000 damage to enemy Heavy Tanks
  •
  • Destroy an enemy heavy tank

Again, very easy. At tier 7+, this should be done in 1-2 shots. Focus heavies and blow through this in a match or two.

This is what I have for SPG-8:

I played this multiple times and each time hit one or more vehicles which had disappeared from view and were thus at the time unspotted but I never got the completion.  Does it require the target to have never been previously spotted?

There are display issues with XVM and YasenKrasen, players need to update these mods and most (probably all) of the display issues with IM/PMs will be resolved.

Oh man it would be so much easier if I used lower tiers for this. I used 10's and tier 7 and 8 lights and the random kill 1 tier above you.

I fired up OMC and did a clean install. It might very well have been YasenKrasen's stats. No idea how that could make the wrong missions appear though...I'm guessing it was showing missions that'll come for the other tanks?

It was showing missions that were on the common test server in December. This might be because those old missions are still in the release coding and the links within the mod weren't updated.

My go-to guide, thanks again. Now, if you have time, you should write an FAQ about Personal Missions (something of which should have been done already by WoT) :)

In your guide under SPG-7 you say kill an enemy TD, but it's supposed to be kill an enemy SPG, which by the way, How did you complete it? Ive killed several SPG's lit and not lit but it will not give me the completion.

Is SPG-7 actually supposed to be kill a TD and not an SPG?

SPG-7 is to kill a TD.

Update XVM and YasenKrasen if you use them. You'll see the correct missions then, or should. Mine changed when I updated.

What if you don't use XVM or YasenKrasen? and still have the wrong missions listed?

Block Quote

LT-12

  • Join a battle as a platoon of light tanks
  • Spot enemy vehicles and enable your allies to cause at least 2000 HP of damage to the vehicles spotted by you
  •
  •  At least 1 platoon member needs to surive

This one I'm a little uncertain of. I complete this mission with only 1700 spotting damage. I am unaware of whether you and your platoon mate's spot damage is combined, or if damage you deal to enemies you spot counts (I did 300-500 damage with 1700 spot damage when it unlocked). I would still definitely shoot for dealing 2k spot damage yourself, but depending how this works you might get it easier like I did.

I just did the T28 Concept version of this mission, and my theory is that spotting damage you or your platoonmates get counts even if it is one of your platoonmates who does the damage, so for instance when I spotted the enemy arty and my platoonmate shot him I got the spotting dmg still.

Regardless I finished the mission with 1711 dmg spotted myself, both my platoonmates got about 1k as well. The spot damage if definitely for the entire platoon as a whole not as an individual, just another one of their poorly worded missions.
