 TD-9

  • Score 3 hits in a row
  •
  • Destroy an enemy vehicle

Another easy one, I'm not even sure if it has to be damaging hits, or just physical hits. To be on the safe side, I'd go for damaging hits. Pretty simple, don't miss.

I can confirm that you only need to hit, not cause damage. Had a terrible game, but still got this even after bouncing 2 of the 4 shots I got off.

One of my clan mates recommended enabling only assault mode for capping missions (especially the heavy one). Not sure if it helps a lot, but you get 50% chance of undisputable capping reason.

For those doing the medium line, I would recommend a Matilda. 6 shots? Easy. Kill a light tank? They're everywhere at tier 4. Kill a heavy 1 tier higher? That high pen 2-pdr makes this a breeze. The Matilda is an excellent tank to do missions in and I highly recommend it.

Also, a lot of people have been complaining about the heavy cap mission. The solution? French heavies. I completed it on my first try in my FCM 50t, and any of the AMX 50 tanks should find dealing 1000 damage and getting to the enemy cap not too difficult. Also, the FCM and AMX 50B are champion rammers, as they're high weight but fast.

As far as SPGs go, the Lefh18B2 is a champ. I've completed most of my missions in it. I know not everyone has access to it, but those who do should keep it in mind, especially for the "kill a light tank" one.

Nice post! GJ!

My question is: how can I reset the mission 15?
I want to finish the secondary mission.

I see only the "claim reward"...

CG,

Great thread mate. It looks like there may be some minor variances in the missions as my TD-12 was A Pre-emptive Strike.

Primary - Do damage to the emeny before they damage ANY of your team.

Secondary - Win.

I used the E25for this mission.

I have the same question, 15th mission complete but not with secondary. And I can't tell if it is active still or not so I can retry for secondary. Don't want to click claim reward and find out I can't go back and get secondary.

Even if you claim reward, you can reactivate the mission to get the secondary. I've done it.

Good advice; thanks for the compendium.  My personal suggestion is that I find playing the lowest tier tank possible has its virtues.  I've been using the ELC AMX & the Luchs for most of my light missions so far.  The T67 has also been my loyal friend.  My expectation is that I'll complete the the "kill-a-light-with-an-SPG" mission with the AMX 105.  And again, if it works it isn't stupid.  I was having a hard time getting out of the blocks on LT-1 until for a whim I rolled out my Crusader!

Awesome guide... Although I don't have that many high tier tanks to complete them all now I guess I'll grow with it nonetheless..

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Thank you for such an informative post, GC..

I have one question about selecting female crews.. I know that you have to choose nationality, tank type and specific vehicle for them.. I assume you can only choose among the vehicles you have researched, correct?

The WG post says that they come with "Sisterhood of Steel" (is this the BIA equivalent?), and another perk/skill at 100%. So if I understand this correctly, you have basically 2 full skill/perk for each crewmember?

Is this different if you replace a male crewmember on an existing tank? (suppose you have a E-100 commander with 3 100% skill/perks, would you get the female e-100 commander with 3 full skills if you replace him, or just SOS plus another 100% skill).

Thanks!

A question regarding the female crew. As soon as I unlock 1 crew member, will I have to assign that crew member to a nation and vehicle right away or can I do that later.

The Female crew must be picked as you receive them. You can pick nationality, tank, and position (Comm/Gunner/etc) and of only tanks you own. They come with a perk, Sisterhood of (blah blah blah), a BIA clone that only works with other women/SIA perks. They also have 100% in a perk that you can choose yourself, HOWEVER, SIA takes the place of SIA, and isn't compatible. Meaning, if you have 5 crew members with BIA in a tank, and the sixth member is a women, BIA will not be activated.

Thought I would share this.

I was able to complete the LT-15 mission on Malinovka in my T71.

http://wotreplays.com/site/1547700#malinovka-nuttydave1234-t71

However, this mission is extremely annoying. Basically had to run light tanks all day. Getting brawling map fairly often impeded on my progress. However, this does prove you don't need tier 8 light tanks in a tier 10 game. It is very possible. Now I must attempt to get 4k damage in a TD. Good luck!

Spoiler

CG, tanks researched, not just tanks owned.  Minor quibble, but figure you'd want completeness.

And, since I started filling my RU 251 with the StuG crewmembers, gonna have to find a 6 Crew tank to drop the ones from the T28 in... Wish you could turn in mission 15 for the tokens without redeeming for the crew.
