Hello Clan Wars players,

This month's tournament will be played in Attack/Defense mode, a fast and exciting addition to update 9.4. Teams will face each other twice - once on each side (which means we will have smaller groups than normal).

Register for this tournament!

Each Clan is ONLY allowed to submit ONE team.

All players on each team MUST be in the Clan represented by the tournament team.

Prizes

1st: 100,000 Gold and an invitation to the Second Clan Invitational Tournament

2nd: 75,000 Gold

3rd/4th: 40,000 Gold

5-8th: 20,000 Gold

9-16th: 10,000 Gold

In addition, all teams that make it to Day 2 (the top 32) and accumulate a total of at least 7 points in the group stages will receive 2,500 Gold.

Note: All prizes are awarded to the Clan Treasury.

I can't wait to play this Gold League: The Highest Level of Play approved format and feel like a pro player like my good friend Mawderator.

To be clear, this is the same type of gameplay we see in WGLNA, but with 14 players and no point limit?

Question if you are in the bronze league. Could you still register since this event will only overlap with one of the league days?

Yes. The other noticeable change is the time limit - 10 minutes instead of the WGLNA's 7, to account for more tanks with more hit points.

You're welcome to do so. I'd recommend to get as many of your clanmates on your roster as possible so you have enough while part of the clan is playing in league matches.

Himmelsdorf is very fishy for this mode.

It is a bit unbalanced in the favor of the defender so far in WGLNA, however I'm a bit curious how the 14v14 rather than 7v7 nature of the map will change things. I do expect Himmels to turn out to be a camp-breaker type of battle for this mode in a full-scale battle as well, but I think it can be a little bit more evened out at this scale of battle. This is also partly why it's the first map in the series - it'll have an effect on seeding, but final payouts are not based on it.

Hm... didn't know Siegfried Line had an attack/defense mode. Haven't seen it pop up in league play or in team battles. Is it something special just for this event or is it something that will be added?

I am actually expecting a lot of cap fast attempts on Himmelsdorf.

Eeek, I did not realize that actually. Thanks for the catch, even if you are a Seahawks fan (Go Bears! :'( ).

The Super Bowl, while not actually a holiday, is a large enough event that a schedule change is warranted for this tournament. Please see the first post in this topic for an updated schedule (it's also updated on the portal and tournament page).

There are 38 teams which met the entry requirements. Since 32 teams move on to round 2, that means that 6 teams will be eliminated tonight (and the other 32 will earn 2,500 if they get at least 7 total points). Tonight's matches will be used in seeding the groups for tomorrow night, when only the top 2 in each division will make it through to the playoffs, so play your best to get the easiest road to success tomorrow night.

Tonight's matches begin at 5:00 PM PST (8:00 PM EST). You will play both sides against each opponent.

Captains and Players - This is optional, but please be sure to send us replays of the matches from this tournament. You can send them to wga_contests@wargaming.net. In addition to helping us gather some info, a few of the best battles will be chosen for an additional gold prize for both clans involved and will appear on the stream.

Well, thats why you have up to 100 people in the clan. Not everyone cares about the SB, much less one where a team which cheated in is currently playing
