Hello Clan Wars players,

This month's tournament will be played on Ghost Town, a new map introduced in the 9.5 update with rotational symmetry. Each side will be on as equal of a playing field as possible, meaning a Clan's true skill will be exactly what determines who goes home a winner, and who has to wait until next time.

Register for this tournament!

Each Clan is ONLY allowed to submit ONE team.

All players on each team MUST be in the Clan represented by the tournament team.

Prizes

1st: 100,000 Gold and an invitation to the Second Clan Invitational Tournament

2nd: 75,000 Gold

3rd/4th: 40,000 Gold

5-8th: 20,000 Gold

In addition, all teams that make it to Day 2 (the top 32) and accumulate a total of at least 7 points in the group stages will receive 2,500 Gold.

Note: All prizes are awarded to the Clan Treasury.

This is what we did with the previous tournament. Now 32 teams make it through, and the prize for moving on has increased to keep the total prize pool the same.

There are 49 teams which met the entry requirements. Since 32 teams move on to round 2, that means that 17 teams will be eliminated tonight (and the other 32 will earn 2,500 if they get at least 7 total points). Tonight's matches will be used in seeding the groups for tomorrow night, when only the top 2 in each division will make it through to the playoffs, so play your best to get the easiest road to success tomorrow night.

Tonight's matches begin at 5:00 PM PST (8:00 PM EST)

The tier 5 skirmish was pretty fun on this map. 14 vs 14 Tier 10 may be pretty fun too but it seems like a cluster [edited. Would love to see more map exhibitions too!!

LZ,

I was kind of thinking the same thing.  At this point, I don't consider it a CW tournament until we have faced you guys at least once in it.

To be honest, Hated the map the first 3 battles....But figured it out after that. So not bad. Battle goes pretty fast which is a plus.

Night 2 groups are in! Surprisingly, the tiebreakers were sufficient enough to do the cutoff exactly at the 32nd spot! Here are your Group Stage 2 groups, the top 2 in each group will move on to the playoffs.

Group 1 Group 2 Group 3 Group 4
[R-7] Regimiento Spartan
Pravda Academy
Kiwi [LOLI]pops
ESPRT - Esprit De Corps
Cães de Guerra
RDDT
MAHOU KAWAI
Armored Outlaws
GOOGLYBOBBERS 2: VILINS BOOGALOO
_NPC_ Civilians
OTTER 1v1 Quickscopes Ghost Town

Tiebreaker Explained

If there is a tie for one (or more) of the 2 spots from each group that moves on that is unbreakable by tiebreaker rules, the tiebreaker matches will immediately follow group play. Captains, we will contact you via in-game message if this is the case.

Good luck in your matches tonight.

According to how wargaming did this bracket: Points + Position of tonights bracket + alphabetical = Seeding for playoffs

#1 Bulba = 21 + 18 = 39 points (Finished 1st in their bracket)
#1 Googlybobbers = 21 + 18 = 39 points (Finished 1st in their bracket)
#3 Espirit = 21 + 12 = 33 points (Finished 1st in their bracket)
#3 theBluebrothers = 18 + 15 = 33 points (Finished 1st in their bracket)
#5 Otter = 18 + 15 = 33 points (Finished 2nd in their bracket)
#6 Foxey = 16 + 15 = 31 points (Finished 2nd in their bracket)

#7 Mahou = 18 + 9 = 27 points (Finished 2nd in their bracket)
#7 MVP = 18 + 9 = 27 points (Finished 2nd in their bracket)

thats how the seeding should be.. but they manipulated the brackets so bulba fights mahou instead of mvp. otherwise everything else is according to how they do every tournament
