Gentlemen,

On behalf of Allu, Jay and myself I would like to say thank you very much for your time, energy, and motivation in making this first event as successful as it has been.  As of last night, we concluded that the Southern team has reached a point that guaranteed victory. Even though this event will be ending a bit sooner, we concluded that all three of our main objectives had been meet in this short period of time.

  1. Promotion of the Strategic Level of Clan Wars - As clearly shown, two different strategies were executed.  Adjustments and counter moves were made on the map with reinforcements and re-positioning in key areas.  This is something that was not possible in tournaments and has not been observed for many years on the CW map.
  2. Community Benefits - Both for the participants and the community as a whole, the benefits range from being able to develop or deepen relationships between clans to getting look into some of the best communities clash against each other. These memories will remain with many of our players long after the move on from this game.
  3. Game/Event Improvements - What started as an idea as something to revive a stagnate map has turned into an event that has plenty of data to review, analyze and provide better experiences for future events.  Both Wargaming and the player event staff have been observing and discussing on what improvements can be made.

I will honestly say for the first event of this kind, the results have far exceeded what we were expecting.  The community was able to come together and compete as professionals. There was no back-stabbing, outside interference, or deliberate rule breaking.  Both sides played with honor and was able to be part of the re-writing of history. Yes the South has won the Civil War and will be receiving their prizes.  However, the best prize goes to the entire community by showing what we can do for ourselves.  I look forward to working with the community and Wargaming making the next event even more successful than the first because we will be doing this again!

Thanks for setting this up guys, it was fun to watch and participate in some action on the clan wars map. Sorry I left so early in though. :P

Good fights everyone.

Edit: That moment when CR/D downvoters are unaware I was part of ESPRT previously.

Still think we should do a 10 v 10 clan commanders fight just as the closure to the event as that would be fun to watch.

As dissapointed as I am in the results of the war, I am glad we participated. We'll be moving forward with some new goals in mind and some new friends made along the way.

Congratulations to all the southern teams, you had a plan and you executed it on the map, and with your tanks.  Fighting through the piles of cover stacks was both challenging and frustrating, yet satisfying on those occasions we were successful.

While some losses to Otter were to be expected, my hats off to Rus and Thugz for stealing a few from us when we probably weren't expecting it.  I hope it was a good experience for you.

I love how the gif in your sig matchs how you must have felt a couple times.

Seriously though. I wanted to take a second and say thank you to to everyone who organized, participated, and especially those who streamed/youtubed. It was a real pleasure from a spectator stand point to see the strats and listen to the calls and coms of other clans.

Thanks to all of you who were willing to share not just the replay, but also the comms of your fights.  It gave great insight into how a well oiled machine works.  Right Bois?

Great to watch, wish we could have made the grade, but like all Cubbie fans say - maybe next time.

Unbelievable experience, and exactly what the CW community needed. Hats off to the top guys who put this together and made it happen, the fruits of your labor I believe will be worth while. I can say for DICE, we learned A LOT. The communication and work between clans was well worth the experience itself. I'd love to see events like this more. Hats off to the North as well, GG's o7's all around.

GGs boys, it's been real. Really fun fights, I'm looking forward to future events and hope this re-invigorates CW. I had a lot of fun meeting different people and planning strategy. We'll be building on this event with increased stronghold absolutes and more CW activity, so feel free to join in.

As corny as this sounds, I think this was one of the only events that resulted in more friendships built in the community than enemies, and much less rage/drama cr/d nonsense and such (bar like one thread made from a shitter?). Also it is nice to see that the clans observing the event enjoyed watching too. Thanks everyone.

A great event to watch from the outside looking in, wishing that I could have seen another 3 days of great CW streams but I can't complain. Can't wait for the next one.
