Kriegstreibers ingame voices DEFINATELY, he has high quality soundmods period so this would be a great addition!!! Maybe for a secondary vote i'd say Red Orchestra/Red Orchestra 2/Red Orchestra Heroes of Stalingrad voices.

I would say for the Chinese, you could always use Jackie Chan. He should have enough lines between all of his movies to produce something useable. Wargame: Red Dragon also has Chinese voice files, but they're also in Chinese, so that's not super great.

I know its not in the list but what about a arnold schwarzenegger crew sounds?

There is/was an Arnold voice mod. Last updated for 8.9, it still "works" but you have no engine/gun/etc audio when using it so yea...

It's readme is wrong since you need to put the fsb and fev into res_mods/9.6/audio instead of res/audio, and you dont need the gui folder.

I tried fooling with FMOD but couldn't find an up to date voice mod template to try and update it(google y u no good search results?).

Not sure what exactly needs to be done to fix it, but the rar is still on mediafire here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/vya97uxwpasybtv/Arnold+Voice+Final+for+WOT+8.9.rar

Thanks buddy, I can work pretty well with existing voice mod, but finding samples myself would be a huge time sink.

Whelp looks like I have to wipe the previous votes, since deleting the option you voted for doesn't seem to reset your vote... silly system.:facepalm:

If anyone has a link to a download for Kriegstreibers in game voices, or a page where he has posted them, that would be great. I can't seem to find them anywhere...

This is a direct link to his "ambient" sound mod which i believe contain his ingame voice mods & gui mod as well (i think there only in german)

Well that's weird, Kriegstreibers voices don't seem to have a ingame_voice file, maybe it can work with this without any changes?

If it doesn't I can just extract the files and make a new one, but that might take longer than normal.

Sorry guys, I'll be gone for a week or two, really busy with other stuff going on.

I promise lots of stuff when I get back.

In the meantime, I worked with the author of Ritterkreuz so he might have something special coming out soon that's compatible with this mod.

However until I update the current version of my mod, you would have to rename his fsb file to replace one of mine. Sorry!

Like I said though, everything will be sorted once I'm back.

Thanks

I am trying to manually slip Red vs Blue into your mod.  I added this block to the XML

First Try

 <mode>
      <name>RvB</name>
      <fmod_language>RvB</fmod_language>
      <description>Red vs Blue</description>
      <invisible>False</invisible>
      <banks>
        <bank>ingame_voice_RvB<filePath>audio/ingame_voice_RvB.fsb</filePath></bank>
      </banks>
    </mode>

That did not work as the Voice PAck did not appear in the list of available packs in the Audio Tab (yes, I copied the two files into the folder and renamed them to match).

I then I tried:

Second Try

 <mode>
      <name>RvB</name>
      <fmod_language>EN5</fmod_language>
      <description>Red vs Blue</description>
      <invisible>False</invisible>
      <banks>
        <bank>ingame_voice_EN5<filePath>audio/ingame_voice_RvB.fsb</filePath></bank>
      </banks>
    </mode>

Still not working.

What else do I need to do?

Let me guess, I have to modify the fev file too?

If you want to try to slip in a mod that I haven't done yet you would have to rename the fsb and replace a fsb that I've already included. If you wanted that change to be reflected in the gui, change the description field to <description>Red vs Blue</description> but nothing else.

However the way that Fmod works means that all the mp3 files in the fsb have to follow a specific naming convention, so it probably wont be compatible with mine.

Hopefully Lycan and I can work together to get it in here soon though.

I'm still busy right now though, so it still might be a week or two before I can get around to it

hey there Spud i spoke with NS, i sent him my current build (seasons 1 through 8 fully completed) and will send him my updated editions as i progress through my own variation of the RvB mod. Hopefully this will help clear up the hassle a little and give him something new to work on ;) Glad to see you're enjoying it! :D
