As the title says, Pigeon_of_War says it's legal http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/425974-legal-or-illegal-mods/#topmost

So who has one?

I only have it after I'm hit by a spotted vehicle, is that the mod?

Why?

It's just the base reload. People could have a 50% crew that fires every 12 seconds but yet it says the reload is 8 seconds.

I don't see why people are making a big deal about it. Even my deegee's sight mod says the base reload but I just use it as a rough estimate if I can maybe get away with another shot. It's not the actual reload. And if you think it is, you need to actually read stuff.

The OTM base is just fine with me, meaning that any spotted tanks reload shows as reloading.

No I have that mod, the one in the link displays all nearby spotted enemies reloads.

I can see their base reload by mousing over their tank, but it's not real-time.

I tried it before in the past in secret, but I really don't find it useful that much if you already know the reload time for all tanks. Sure it helps as a reminder, but nothing more

Why you ask?

You turn a corner and now you have a 183 in front of you, you don't know if he is waiting for you or is reloading, but this mod now tells you he shot and you have 15 seconds to pounce on him before he is ready to fire again....yeah, let me think about that mod being a legal one.....

Read his post.

If it lists specific reload (via mining data) it's banned.  If it shows a "stock" (my word not Pigeon's) reload it's ok.

Regardless if it shows stock time or not, how can you say it is "fair" mod to be using? You are in your AMX50B, stock or not, you have a 30 second reload and are hiding, unspotted behind a rock or building. An enemy tank (fully loaded auto loader) pops around the corner, lights you up and instantly knows you aren't camping because the mod he is using says you are reloading and have 20 seconds left. He has a full clip and empties it into you knowing full well you can't return fire.

To me, that mod is giving an unfair advantage and anyone else who believes otherwise is fooling themselves.

Being able to see all nearby enemies reloading would be extremely .... Helpful.

And if it's legal, and there are players currently using it against me, I definitely want to even the playing field.

Because typically nearby enemies I'm not actively engaged with were not my main concern, so I wasn't actively tracking their reloads.

But knowing that I can flank, push or dump a clip without fear of return fire seems fun....

You can't see a 183 fire and know he's reloading?

Not if he was previously unspotted to you.

I completely agree.

But if it's being used against me, the only way to even it up is to use it too.

If he fired while being spotted by any team member, it'll show him as reloading with a countdown timer (based on stock times of course).

Wow. He is only asking if somebody has the mod. I don't think he was looking for it to turn in to a multipage discussion as to why he should have it or not.

Anyone can see what the base reload for any tank is. If it's showing reload times specific to a current players crew level, equipment and consumables then it's digging for more information which makes it illegal.

Yes they can, in their garage.

But having a mod that tells you if a tank had just fired, without you knowing it had, and giving you an approximate re-load time for that vehicle is an unfair advantage.

Go here, create a user name & password, look through Soulza's xvm mods.
It's not a single mod as far as I know, it's an add on to XVM.
If that isn't what your looking for, they have a forum to ask about mods, etc.
It can be added, or turned off at will, if you have experience with config files.
