I've had decent success making money with the KV-1 and the T1 Heavy. I average about 13k credits with the KV-1 and about 12k with the T1 Heavy.

My numbers were from the net income as opposed to credits per min.

Also I needed some credits over lunch to buy the Chaffee and outfit it and I can attest that the SU-100Y will just crapcredits all over your account.  I played 2 games and netted 88k and one of those games was a loss.

note that total income isn't real important... it's all about that NET.... my best non money making tanks with a reasonable amount of games played are as followes

t-28 @ 8,938

fv304 @ 8,675

t-34 @ 7,939

ELC @ 7,912

Bishop @ 7,130

Matilda @ 7,125

kv-1 @ 7,033

on the prem side they all make more... even my lowly tier3 locust makes over 10k a game (again net) which puts it at prob the best value for a prem I own being that it cost so little... buy on 50% off... even not on sale it's only like $6

It's all good... to each their own!

IS-6 and chinese 112 are about equal in making money. IS-6 is somewhat more capable with a more accurate gun and slightly weaker armor.  Lowe is also quite good and is also accurate, strong and very capable.. a good player can do a lot with a lowe..  Those three tanks will make it capable of earning over a million silver a day with no problem.. So, there ya go..

AMX 40! Because of that OP pen.... >;p

Yeah the AMX 40 has OP pen! Its so OP, that it pens less than my tier III SU-76 by about 38mm. The AMX 40's best gun is so good that you know you'd be kicking butt in tier VI games with that awesome 74mm of pen! With that you are almost guaranteed to pen the thicker hulled tanks like the Panzer Ic even! You'd even have a 0% chance of penning KV-220's.

So OP..............

Pretty sure he was using the sarcasm font there.

OMG why wasn't I using my SU-100Y?  So much fun to remove so many HP at once.  LOL  And the money...oooooh yeeeeeaaaa.

really? a t-34? I find it pretty lacking for some reason.

Are you using the 76mm or the 57mm gun?  If you have the 76mm, swap that out for the 57mm for much pew-pew fun and profit.

The Church III and SU100Y are both premiums, they should net you a decent amount of coin.

Su-100Y for sure. You can get good credits because you can land shots even on Tier 8 thanks to its good pen. You just need to stay behind, and take cover in between shots. You will be surprised how much you can make in this TD if you know how to play it. I often play mine with my WZ-111 when I need credits in a hurry.

In my opinion the best money making tank in the game is, of course premium; the Chineese tier 8 heavy called the 112. It makes me about 40-50k credits a game and in the hands of a good players is nasty for credits.

The ELC is great because of the damage it can do but there is another you may find u like.

The Teir V French TD has 165 pen and 300 damage... at tier V. It also has good view range but it is slower and has no armor but also decent camo.

This tank should almost never need gold from the high pen, does great damage which is good for credits and usually hits. Put binocs, camo net and a gun laying drive on it and enjoy the money!

Tier 5 vehicles played well can earn enough money for most players to feed their high tier tanks.

The game was actually designed this way intentionally to make the it more viable as a free to play concept.

The idea is that they (WarGaming) want higher tier players to play the middle tiers on a regular basis.

Back around v7-v8 they did some rebalancing to the monetary system just for this reason.

So yeah, rock the T-34, Pz III/IV, M7, T67, KV-1, KV-1S well and you should be making money.

Unless of course you are a bad player. In which case you will not make much money at any tier, premium or otherwise.

My rule of thumb for a money making tank:

  • Damages almost any tank it encounters firing regular AP or HE derp (none or very few premium rounds).  Few bounces at any range.
  • Allows me to live through most of the battle.
  • Allows me to dish out significant damage through the battle.
  • If it is a premium tank, even better.

Usually for me that means TDs.

Just find the right T5 that you like to play. Credits roll in even in losses.

Best answer NA.

My vote is KV-1.

Run that SU-100Y over and over and over and over...reaps cash.

Top 5 money makers in the game by net credits are as follows:

  1. FCM-50T
  2. T34 (note this is the premium heavy not the T-34)
  3. JT8.8
  4. Lowe
  5. Type 59

Note that the SU-100Y is the #9 credit earner

Ok...lets cover this again.  I get that it's the internet and that everyone has a right to their opinion on everything.  But this isn't up for debate, the statistics show that the list I gave above is, IN ORDER, the top net credits earning tanks in the game.  AND for the OP who HAS the SU-100Y the choice is clear...the SU-100Y.

I'm currently using the Sherman as a money maker .For me the M4, Sherman III and Pz IV were the best. Its cost on repair and ammunition are very cheap. Even when you lose a battle there's high possibilities of gaining some money back. In low tier battles like 3-5 these tanks are absolute monsters if used properly.(I used to kill 8 tanks with my Sherman).

Note: Make sure you use the Derp gun(10.5cm gun). The other guns are less useful.

According to the stats, not one tank is a negative credit earner.  I know that is B.S.

Do you use the 57MM gun? 57MM Gun-rammer-vents-optics. Then you will haverst much XP and Credits as you spam ice picks of death into your targets 26 times a minute
