So I have been a member of the Relic Gaming Community for over 2 years now, and a member of Relic 2nd Armoured for the same. In the past 2 years Relic 2nd has been hacked and disbanded twice. While to some of you, you say who cares, but to us in 2nd and all the other who have been hacked and disbanded this would mean a lot. Not only do you lose your integrity, you lose all your Clan treasury, and everything you have worked to build in Strongholds etc. Its getting really old having to rebuild from the ground up, and I ask WG to look closer into this.

I think WG needs to rethink on implementing 2 factor authentication. Every other Big name game has it except WG. While you can never stop people from hacking, you can make it really hard for hackers, and a 2 factor authentication would do just that.

So I ask you WG please implement 2 factor authentication.

Also I realize you made it more steps to disband a clan but  maybe you should rethink the steps it takes to disband a clan. Possibly implement a 2 day waiting period, an email to current clan members, and email verification before clans can be disbanded. These are just my ideas but its definitely something to look into.

Edit .......2 different CO, And no I didn't give out my account info to anyone

Confirmed: wril was the one who hacked REL_2.

Discuss.

But seriously: it has been a big issue for years, and it's a shame WG does nothing about it.

Have your clan leadership stop downloading dodgy mods and sharing their login info and your problem is solved! One just doesn't "get hacked"...

Should make it at least a two step thing.

So Commander wants to disband then one of the other higher level officers must also confirm it.  Like XO, Personal Officer, or Treasurer.  And if it doesn't happen with in a couple of days, the thing is dropped.

I was the Clan Leader

I don't download dodgy mods

I don't share my account info

But thanks for the wisdom and lack of support

You dont get lucky twice. But yeah, more account protection is needed.

[sarcasm]

Don't be ridiculous. WG is too busy removing premium tanks to deal with this nonsense.

[/sarcasm]

This some booty. Hard to believe WG refuses to acknowledge this dilemma. All they have to do is make it necessary for like 3 high-ranked clan members to approve the disbandment or something.

It's not that difficult ffs

EDIT: Also,

F

This, and make sure your PC is not infected, its not wargaming's fault someone stole your password. Also make sure you use a different password for every website.

Sounds like karma for everyone in Relic-2 running warpack and aimbots.

Fact that it has gone on for so long and WG has done nothing to resolve the issue may mean they have no means to resolve said issue. If that is the case then I feel for all these groups of dedicated individuals who invest time and money only to have it all go to waste when their groups get disbanded.

I have different passwords for everything, and worse i just changed my password (which was a strong one) that same day 6 hrs before. I never blamed WG just asked for stricter parameters. Reformating my home PC HD to be safe in case i was infected by a keylogger. :(

Wargaming then simply needs to send you a code to your phone so you can disband the clan, no need for a cooldown or anything. They already use that method when you try to change your password

Umm how many clans has this actually happened to? Not many?  sounds like the auto industries excuse for not fixing things. its just not worth it.   BTW you might consider using a stronger password than Hax0r1337.

when you reform try coming up a new name like ReRLC or UnRLC.  Your naming structure is so 2010.
