M5 Stuart with 75 mm gun and fully equipped was terrific fun and fast and lethal
Now hopeless M7 with basic setup slow with a pop gun.
Unable to get experience inspite of hitting things.
Makes fun game a bore until I finally update it if ever.
Similar to having to deal with M3 Lee. Hopeless.
Expanding credits with these two M3 Lee and M7 a Pain. Not fun.

M3 Lee just requires a differnt playstyle, get used to it and you will own.

M7 now, the stock 37mm is useless, I agree. However, with upgrades suspension, I push 57km/h (same as Stuart) with a 53% crew and vent (so, 58%). Get the 6pdr gun, which has the best pen for the tank and good damage.

Get the 6 pounder, then everything else.  Make sure you have a 75% gunner if you want to be able to hit anything, even while stationary.

Hopeless M3 Lee and M7 have been sold.

Just not fun and that is what this game is all about.

Has the USA stream been dudded down in effectiveness.

Nope, they are actually very good, you just have to learn their playstyles, strengths and weaknesses. Play to the strengths and avoid the weaknesses.

Don't be so quick to give up, those tanks are actually really good when they are upgraded and played right.  The Lee especially - I absolutely hated mine at first, but now it's earning me medals.  It's pretty quick and nimble, the gun is accurate and fast to aim, it reloads really quick and it hits pretty hard.

You just need to remember your size and the amount of gun traverse you've got to work with.

Giving up already?  How lame.

Most tanks suck when stock.  I predict you'll be at tier 3/4 for a week then prematurely give up in disgust.

M3 Lee is great upgraded.  I was damaging T7 heavies pretty regularly.  They'd just ignore me, probably because I was in a Lee, but 6-7% damage every few seconds is nothing to scoff at.  You can go toe-to-toe with TDs your own level.  Lee bounces shots off it like crazy from the front.

M7 I didn't care for too much.  It was an alright tank, but the E8 and T20 are well worth it.  Especially once they are fully upgraded they are an absolute blast to play.

I guess you really showed those tanks who's boss.

To go from fun effective fully upgraded M5 Stuart to absurdly configured mismatched M7 ia absurd.
No tank would ever have been configured this way.
I have switched to German stream and already more fun.
If that absurd mis matching situation reoccurs goodbye WOT game.

...you've got a few nasty surprises in store, then...

But also some real gems, so stick with it this time, eh?

Fully Upgraded M7 is amazing, runs circles around heavies, holds it's own(for the most) part against other mediums.

M3 Lee was a nice tank, M7 is hopeless with the 37, beast with the 57 though. Too bad I had to sell it to get my US heavies :(

You didn't even give the M7 a good chance. Every tank in the game in stock form with 50% crews is CCRRAAPPPPPP. Do you get that?

Good.

The M7 with upgraded QF 6-lbr gun, and tracks, then turret, and engine is a beast. Sure its armor is low, but I made TONS of money with that tank. 15,000 creds or more per victory with only 3k repair is way way way nicer than any tier 4 tank's average income. The 6-lbr's 100+mm of penetration means you can hit and hurt - even if it is only 75 damage - heavy tier 5-6 tanks. AND you can run in circles around them and dodge their slower turrets, if you play carefully. There have been several times on Himmelsdorf where I went around the tracks and killed off their arty and helped cap and win the game.

Now have fun with the German tanks. I hear they really do great when you hit the Leopard and Tiger I.

You played 3 games in the M7 what do you want instawin button? If that is the extent of your experience, you are in no position to make an appraisal of an equipment, no one can with so little knowledge of the tank. There are some good forum topics on the M7 if you do a search, read, mark, learn and inwardly digest. No good cutting your nose off to spite your face, give it another go and use the knowledge you have been able to pick up from the numerous forum entries on the M7.Have fun <_<

The M7 is a really good tank. That thing can take down KVs by itself. The Lee, while lacking a turret, can punch holes in tanks tiers above it.

How do you get 15,000 credits?

Most i have ever got even with 3 kills was about 5000

Just curious.

Great game.

Great game.

Did you win that game? Were those 3 kills low tier targets? Did you do damage to those targets or did you just last hit them? Lots of things to consider.
