Here's a game you can play to relieve some of the frustration. It's called 'Bonehead Bingo'.

If you have 5 of these guys on your team, you win. Not the battle, you're going to lose the battle if these idiots are on your side, but you get the consolation of winning Bonehead Bingo.

1) The "YOLO-BRO" who zooms out to an early death and then cries in chat that nobody shot the enemies that he spotted. You know, the enemies that weren't even in draw range of the rest of the team when YOLO-BRO died.

2) The "I know a great spot" player who has their single position on any map and won't go anywhere else, regardless of red or green deployments. Double points for the "You're in my spot" dipstick that shoots you in the back for being in his spot.

3) The "They scratched my paint!" person who comes to a complete standstill the second they take a hit (or worse, runs away). Counts double if they have the mod that puts the "I'm spotted in XX" spam in team chat.

4) The guy that runs off on their own and is so busy pinging for help or typing comments in chat that they don't notice that their health is going down faster than an anchor.

5) The Derp Sniper that is busy trying to shoot enemies just barely inside their draw circle with the 15cm gun on their O-I. (Only KV-2s can derp-snipe :) )

6) The "Sorry, guys, I'm stock" apologist. First, nobody cares. Second, why advertise your inadequacy? Third, NOBODY CARES.

7) The Map Pinger. Seriously, there are 100 squares on the map and this dude/dudette pings 93 of them. Dafuq does that mean aside from 'Pay attention to the mini-map'?

8) Captain Obvious. The guy who informs the team of the generic strategy for whatever map. Y'know, "Take the Hill" on Mines, "Heavies to City" on Ruinberg, and such.

9) The XVM Psychic. 48% Projected Win Chance? Drowns themselves after announcing that the battle is already lost 12 seconds into the countdown.

10) The Function Key Fumbler. 'Attack!', 'Defend the Base!', 'Help!', 'Affirmative!', 'Negative!', and 'Follow Me!', all before they leave spawn.

11) The Fire Button Checker. Just gotta let off a few rounds to make sure their left mouse button hasn't quit working since the last battle. Bonus point if they accidentally shoot someone. 2 points if it's you.

12) The Arty TK'er. You know who they are. Counts double if they announce their arty-phobia before opening fire.

13) The Physics Bully. The troll with a the bigger tank pushing anyone lighter than them into the enemies line of fire. Just lie back and think of England, it'll be over soon.

OMG!

Why did you have to conjure up that image of Bear Grylls?

PS. I shot gold since the gun is trash and has bad pen.

Grylls used that line?

Since it was supposedly first used by a woman to explain how she put up with doing her "wifely duty", I have to wonder what situation Grylls was in that would have called for that particular reference.

( Personally, I think he's a hack and prefer Les Stroud for my highly-unlikely situation survival advice.)

This is recorded in the 1912 journal of Lady Hillingdon:

"When I hear his steps outside my door I lie down on my bed, open my legs and think of England."

I too vote Stroud.

Since you asked, this is the source for the Grylls recitation of that quip.

Wonder no more, remember though it was you wondering.

I'll die of dehydration, thanks. :great:

I did.  Played in one all tier 8 game and came out with top damage on both sides in a win - just shooting standard AP since it wasn't a tier 10 game.  Now I am afraid to play it again and ruin its record...     Really good mobility and gun - not a brawler. I didn't put out for the dragon stuff though - just the overpriced bare tank. Gotta love the alpha.

I did get the base model, it's not bad but it's a lot like the Leo just a tier 8.  Good speed but it is thin skinned so you are not a brawler.  The 105 does pack a punch, but I have not played enough games to really give a judgement.

Did anyone get any of the big XP this weekend?

Cheers

Cool! I won a 3 day rental on Jerm stream last night. Going to try it out tonight. I did not realize I actually have a pretty good Swedish crew hanging around since I got the ladys when they launched the line

I picked up a "plain vanilla" Lansen C the day they went on sale.

Played about 40 battles in it... my winrate has been hovering around 48-50% in it... probably not too bad for a noob.

I really enjoy the mobility and the stout gun... its also been valuable in teaching "mobility and cover is armor" as I know I rely far too much on armor protection when I should be making smarter tactical plays.
