Hey Banzi, you said you'd take more AMD 178b replays, so here they are:

Ace on El Halluf: http://wotreplays.eu/site/4924281#el_halluf-mongoosejake-panhard_amd_178b

One of the best late game turn arounds I pulled off in this vehicle here in this Ace and Pool's medal battle on Karelia: http://wotreplays.eu/site/4929457#karelia-mongoosejake-panhard_amd_178b

And, even though it's a loss, here's my third mark earning game on Overlord: http://wotreplays.eu/site/4929461#overlord-mongoosejake-panhard_amd_178b

Thank you for asking. A new computer system at work is taking up most my time right now. I only get to play a few games right now and it is very clear my skills are very rusty.

I really struggling with patience. I seem stuck in this rut. 1 fair game, 1 really bad game that I make dumb mistakes. My play style is too aggressive. I keep trying to make thing happen. I am thinking of playing my teir 9s since the 8s and 7s seem constantly stuck in bottom tier games with really passive teams However when I play 9s I see to get a constant session of teir X matches.

I think the problem is I am not playing nearly enough. I need to get more games in weekly, if not daily, to get myself back on track.

GA I have been there too, and it will pass hang in there sometimes a break is good when things are going to hell in hand basket.  I find evening are not a great time for me to play as it seems all the H0D0R's are out to rip me a new one lol.  I do find mornings are a good time to play maybe give that a try on the weekends just watch for those 5x weekends because all bets are off on those.

Cheers

:^)

If you have a tier 8 pref that is the tank to play! Otherwise tier 8 is a comfort zone.

Also don't be afraid to chill and not worry about wot for a while.

Thanks gang. I grinding my Strv 74 getting to the Leo. It is really not a bad tank. Same problem I have with any new tank, takes me some time to get the hang of how to play.

I'll second that except I don't have any 9s to play and the last 2 times I played I got burned so bad I don't really wanna touch the stove top again.

The Strv 74 is actually my favorite tank in the line so far. Incredible gun depression along with a tiny frontal turret profile and a very nice weapon make for one heck of a ridge fighting medium. It's not the fastest medium in the mid tiers, so don't try to be a Cromwell, nor is it a brawler, but working ridgelines and providing supporting fire while flanking around is right up its alley. A very comfy mid tier medium in my opinion.

Yeah I am finding the STRV is really a good tank for vision control and ridge fighting. On the right map it is formidable

So anyone play the German tier 6 VK 30.01P. Any tips on how to make the gun behave? It sure is derpy. Like the tank but really struggling with dumping shot into the dirt.

So yes, I went back down tier. Playing nothing but 6s. It just seems to be my safe space.

Run vents, optics, and a rammer. If you want to sacrifice a bit of DPM replace the rammer for a gun laying drive. The vents will help out with stats all over the tank and the optics will help boost that view range so you can spot the enemies a bit sooner.

Play the VK like its a paper med, try not to get into engagements where you are face on with the enemy. Use the gun at a medium distance so you can shoot then hide a bit. Rinse and repeat.
