Nice One, GAJohnnie!

I've had way too many rusty brown Battle Reports with me being either 1st or 2nd in damage than I care to discuss.  Knock wood, I can take a positive from those games.  Also, knock wood once again, very few battles per day are quick no damage death losses or little damage carried by others wins.

I look for the positives where I can find them.  And this is one more lead-in for you to take a moment to reorient what it is that you can derive 'fun' or 'pleasure' or at least admit it's 'damn exciting' such that playing through losses or those games where you are sure you're the only one on your team with an actual functional understanding of how to even play it is bearable over longer distances.

As an example, while my WR in the JgPzIV doesn't really seem to be improving as I play it more, I do note that my overall damage, kills and accuracy have, so it's not just me not doing well in it at this point.  It could be that tier VI really is one of the more difficult tiers for some reason, I don't know.  It could also be that a slow TD is all my computer can manage even on a good day at tier VI and above.  My fps is around 11 and I have very spiky and laggy ping, so once I get beyond a certain level of delay, I don't think I can plan for what might be happening next.

Or I'm at my current plateau until another light comes on.  That's more likely it.

IN any case, you can look on purpose for things in the game that you can appreciate, even during a loss and recognize that if you're going to make it about you, then you should only be concerned with -- are YOU improving as you play, no matter the outcomes?

In my particular case I can say, "Yes."  I am sort of re-learning some of the ideas I have had about the game.  I'm purposely working harder at being more productive in terms of shots on target and guns gone.  I have a game in my Grille with 528 HP of damage, with 8 units damaged and 5 of those killed.  That's not damage farming, that's taking guns out or setting them up to be so.

My intent is now more focused on removing a gun from the game whenever possible and to stop or harry any advances that threaten my team's overall positioning or advantage.  In SPGs this means I'm scanning all over the map and swinging my gun every which way, even if I would prefer to keep it in one spot.  Then there are times running around in my other units, I'm taking time to realize, "I've been sitting here 30s with no targets, I need to reposition," so that I can purposely keep my gun active more of the match.

That means I'm taking more risks.  Which means I have been paying a LOT more attention to cover and concealment in my movements and spotting and vision as I position for targets.  It's been helping to focus on the basics with a keener understanding and appreciation for how important they really are.  And, after my slowly downtrending periods recently, I think this is what I have learned more fully.

It is finally starting to really take hold for me and I have seen an improvement in my play, regardless of my overall success rate vis-a-vis a + WR.

And that allows me to keep playing for the sake of enjoying my ability to improve how I

Survive

Do Damage

Help My Team

Even if I do not   Win.

Hey Solid!

Good to see you.

Basically you enter a code  and get a token. They wll be giving 5 bonus tokens this month for doing the Hunt. The token unlocks an easy mission "Be in the top 10 on your team" mission. . You get free boosters for every mission completed. The more codes you complete, the more free stuff, like consumables, you get. Do 30 mission and you get 10,000 exp on the tank you complete the mission in. Do all 31 and you get 30,000 xp on the tank.

This thread explains it better then I can
