Prohibited Conduct During Clan Wars Events

Insufficient tanks brought to a battle.

Not attending battles

  • A Clan that has attacked, but does not show up for battles, will be handled by the penalty system. (Provinces or landing zones) (Attack or defense)
  • First offense generates an automatic warning.
  • Each other offense results in 10% of the Clan's Fame Points being lost.
  • This rule does not include teams turning up with insufficient tanks.
  • This is a new automated system and no reporting will be accepted or handled manually.

Attacking Provinces / Landing zones

Minimum player requirements

  • Attacks from Clans that do not meet the minimum player requirements will not be scheduled for battles.
  • This is a new automated system and no reporting will be accepted or handled manually.
  • Only teams having the required number of players are allowed to battle. A team lacking players faces a technical defeat.

Unfair play within battles / Staged battles / Fake battles.

Rules for unfair play within battles / staged battles / fake battles are related to, conduct within the game and on the replay submitted..

All battles within the game are to be played in a competitive manner. Battles can not be staged / fought within the game to gain additional fame from the battle or to avoid penalties.

Examples of prohibited play in games.

  • Leaving enemy capping, while resetting the cap periodically, to gain additional fame from cap resets.
  • Not killing the remaining enemy, to gain additional fame (playing with the food)
  • Not killing/firing upon enemy tanks, when its obvious that should be happening in normal play.
  • ETC.

Replays showing the above unfair play to gain additional fame, needs to be clear from the replay.

  • Reporting of offenses is limited to the following conditions
    • The offense must be reported within 24 hours of the offense taking place.
    • The offense must be reported to Wargaming America Support's Clan Management queue.
    • The ticket must include a replay of the violation, the province and time of the battle.

  • Sanctions
    • 1st Offense .. Clan Fame Points reduced by 25%, each player on the offending team receives a 3 day ban.
    • 2nd Offense (Clan) .. Clan Disqualified from event.
    • 2nd Offense (Player) .. Player disqualified from event. Player game banned for 7 days.

Sanctions may be increased based on the date of the violation or other factors.

Clans attacking other clans.

Is permitted. Clans, Sub-clans, Allied clans, Neutral clans, Enemy clans... May fight within clan-wars. Provided such battles are fought by real accounts / real players, and fought in a competitive spirit, with the battle itself not being staged as described above.

No reports on clans who are "real clans" attacking other "real clans" will be accepted (with the exception of Alt clans as detailed below)

Alt clans.

Alt clans, are such which are designed to contain obvious alt accounts, and/or are primarily made up of obvious alt accounts. Such clans are permitted if all other rules are followed, however soon become prohibited when other rule violations are present. Alt clans as described above, and prohibited within the Clan Wars environment.

Please note..

  • Sub-clans / Allied clans are not by default Alt clans.
  • Players with 10,000 games are not obvious alts.

Sanctions for Alt clans vary, but usually include the clan leader and/or officers and/or members sanctioned, and/or main accounts sanctioned, and/or the clan disbanded.

  • The ticket must include a screenshot of the violation, the province and time of the battle.

Sanctions may be increased based on the date of the violation or other factors.

Replay availability.

During a Clan Wars event, replays must be set to enabled, with all replays stored and freely available.

If at any stage Wargaming requires replays to be submitted, the Commander and Executive Officers will receive a forum PM. Clans have 24 hours to do provide the replay, or the Clan and/or members within the Clan will face punishment including Fame Point penalties up to and including disqualification from the event and game bans.

Prohibited conduct: Wargaming scanning.

In addition to the above systems in place, Wargaming will scan for anomalies and anomalous fame earnings / statistics.

Battles containing possible anomalies will have their replays requested, as above replays requested but not supplied within 24 hours will result in the sanctions listed above. Additionally some battles will be randomly reviewed and matches that appear suspicious to Wargaming Administrators will also be reviewed.

Support during Clan Wars Events.

  • Any tickets regarding a Clan Wars event must follow these steps:
    • The offense must be reported within 24 hours of the offense taking place.
    • The offense must be reported to Wargaming America Support's Clan Management queue.
    • The ticket must include a replay of the violation, the province and time of the battle.

Fake Replays.

All replays submitted will be verified against our game logs for verification of authenticity.

Tampering with replays is a serious offense, which will receive extended game bans.
