That's right! Been awhile, but I've made another one. Got two summer jobs... but I'll do what I can to keep filling in these requests!

The last ones:

(fo sho. That list was getting too long.)

So! The AMX 50 B. Not a tank that has been requested numerous times... but it's been on the list for a long time, so it was about due to earn one of these guides. This tank won't be too easy... but I figured I'd try a higher up, elevated angle on the tank from above to see how that would go. I also minimized parallax, providing almost isometric perspective lines, just like the Garage icon. This will make the guide relatively easy for people who want to actually try drawing one from a cool angle.

For the first one, I drew the basic shape of the hull. Getting the contours in front of the turret was the hardest bit... but it took just a tiny bit of working to get it right.

Added the road wheels and turret ring. Eyeing out where everything would go from here was kind of difficult... not used to drawing from this angle.

Here's the running gear finished. I totally forgot the road wheels on the 50B are interleaved, like German tanks. Totally threw me off- and how I had my reference set up, it hid the wheels pretty well. Still got it though.

Erased a bit of the back and got started on the turret. This... was tough. The swell on the left side always looked so weird to me, any way I went about trying to draw it, but I settled on that in the end. It was mathematically correct, so I just went "ugh... fine" and carried on like that.

Drawing the back of the turret. This was tough too... because I didn't want to make it look elevated or glued to the back of the tank's hull. I still think it looks kinda funky, but I guess I'm not used to the angle.

The gun. Gotta enlarge the canvas...

There we go. Also added some cool swishy effects and a muzzle break. I also added details to the turret and the tracks.

The final image. Some hull details and the shading was added.

All in all, not the most fun guide to make... but interesting new challenge and getting into this higher angle and different perspective was time consuming- but cool nonetheless. I'll probs try it again. Not on the next one, but maybe on a Type 59 guide, since someone requested that.

But yeah! Was refreshing to put off work and be back at it again! Hope ya'lls enjoyed and hopefully I can get another one done!

You forgot the MG on top, OP. But it's still great.
