Let me see if I have this straight...

The idea here is to create a fantasy tank league, kind of like fantasy football, where you pick players, and based on their performance in actual upcoming gold league matches, your fantasy team gets scored.

However, because a lot of these guys are re-rolls, how the hell am I supposed to tell who is who and what their stat history is and be 100% sure I am looking at the right person?

I cannot look up many of them because their account does not exist anymore, or yet, or they changed their names. When I am able to connect the dots of who is who (like I assume Zoid is Zoidbergenstein), how do I know for sure I have the correct person and the correct past stats?

Its like we are trying to combine WoT, fantasy football, and a shell game...as I cannot compare everyone's stats...

So instead of me picking a quarter back, I might instead be picking the water boy...

Crazy, just crazy...or am I not understanding what is going on here?

Is there a secrete decoder ring out there telling us who was who for the people that re-rolled?

Because "Pub Match: performance does not dictate how well a player will be in the league. WN8 only applies to pub matches not the league, if it did then Elevate would not have won season 5. Wargaming GlobalRating is far better at determining a players' skill level than WN8. I would suggest looking at the esport website http://na.wgleague.net/en/ and filter for season 5 to determine which players you may want on your roster. You can also go here http://www.fantasywgl.com/news/article/68/ and keep changing the numbers only /68/ to /67/ to /66/ and so on from the fantasy league website to see the optimal lineups per night from season 5.

if you watched last season you'd have a better knowledge of each player.

How does that help me now ;)

It sounds like you are saying the teams are the same people. So is it correct to assume I can research the players from the last season?

I just noticed the teams are not exactly the same...

I usually do pretty well in hockey pools with my dart throwing technique. Let's see if it works here.

Aaron Rodgers...

Not Tom Brady

Not Joe Montana

Not Peyton Manning

Aaron Rodgers...

You throw Joe Montana in the list, but leave out Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, and John Elway? Tsk Tsk Tsk. Manning nor Brady were as tough as these old-timers. They played in a time where face masks, spearing, and horse-collar tackling were all nice and legal.

Well you can watch last season on twitch and Youtube lol. Also some of the newer teams have members from old teams. Aka a lot of my team. You can have a Avg win 8 and be a great league player. You just have to have practice on maps and tank types. In honesty the order of what makes a great League player is teamwork first, tactical deployment and movement second, and knowing the maps inside, and out. Then personal skill plays a part. The player that isn't maybe the best shot or have the quickest reflexes will beat a better tanker due to where he has positioned himself on the map with good understanding of his teammates movements and crossfires.  As for picking players maybe pick players you feel could good, and as the season rolls on the players that are playing the biggest impact on there team are the ones to pick.
