We now have RU, NA, and Asia banned mod listings.

It's funny how as time goes on the listing get's more detailed and perfect.

Like, Asia's is basicically like NA's but more detailed and clear, and adds a few things.

RU's is still pretty simple and the major stuff.

I'm trying to get some clarification and changes to it, cause crap, they've banned some things many use, and some I've been using for like 2-3 years 60x zoom.

I'm curious about the damage counter. They only listed the received damage counter, but I'm assuming the dealt damage counter is legal too. Right? It doesn't even add the damage if the enemy goes un-spotted.

The ones which are illegal are those that tell you who hit you when they have not yet been spotted so little Tommy Tank Destroyer sitting 500 yards away in his favourite bush who has not been spotted all game suddenly anyone with this mod and half an idea about the game IE looks at the direction indicator from the hit received can take a pretty good guess at where Tommy is hidden

I never could stand Vanilla from the first moment I started playing the game.

- Can't tell what the heck the tanks are with the Players Panel icons

- Couldn't Zoom Out to see ones surroundings properly

- Couldn't zoom in better

- Couldn't read the damage info at the bottom center of screen, want to know what's going on.

These are the biggest things that I just couldn't comprehend that the game itself didn't already do/have and I absolutely HAD to fix, or I just couldn't and wouldn't play the game.

So, I started creating a mod pack to make the game as close to as possible to how I think it should be.

Glad to see this, now they just have to get a detection device working server side so they know who is using the cheats.

Permitted in game alterations.

● Default Autoaim or mods which assist in activating the default autoaim by clicking near the target

so i am confused: for NA server

autoaim that tracks behind/through objects = illegal: ok with that concept being cheaty.

autoaim that snaps (ie assists by aiming near target) = legal per their list.

U can use up to 60X. Ive researched it myself and heres the answer from a previous post on these forums,

Dear Tanker,

Thank you for playing World of Tanks and for contacting Wargaming.net's NA Support team!

As long as the camera stays attached to the tank, you can use your 60x zoom legally.

We hope that we've resolved your issue effectively, however if you have any other questions about this or any other topic please do not hesitate to let us know. Have a great day, and happy tanking!

Best Regards,

Nathan Lloyd

Ya....  Personally they both should be legal, but NA calls it an "aim-bot".

At least Pigeon did.  So, we need clarification.

Reloads need to be clarified too.

Ya, I've known NA allows it.....  But I think Asia missed that.

I've posted to them about the issue, hopefully they will remove that 30x limit they mention.

BTW, could you screenshot that message from that, so I can archive it?

Just press "Print Screen" key and paste it to Paint, and then upload to imgur.com

Thanks for the fast response. Someday hopefully there will be a common list for all servers and perhaps a quick process to submit one's mod pack for official approval. It would remove a ton of questionable mods if they all had to be approved prior to use. Also give the mod makers a level of credibility/recognition that they don't get now for their work.

The following is a portion of a log that WG keeps on every client when the game is loaded.  The log is too big to be posted in it's entirety but, this will give an idea of what WG knows about your game setup.
