Hey steeldevil what do the colors mean on the tanks didn't see it on this topic or in the zipped file??? thx love the skins so far.

SteelDevils, thanks for the great skins. I downloaded them but I got a message that they were not compatible with Win7 64bit? Any suggestions?

Does the skull denote the weakest point of a tank?

hey guys, i noticed that every download site has a download restriction, so i decided to try netload and found that if you wait and click the "click here to download" link text just above the big flashing DOWNLOAD button it downloads without a restriction. hope this helps.

8 different Variations?

You read right, with Version 0.9 you can choose between 8 different Variations.
These are two Maingroups:

Normal:
The way you all know Skins.

Close Combat:
Close Combat Hitzone Skins! Yeah, you heard right! These Skins are only visible if you are close to another Tank, or if you are zoomed in on it.
At further distances, there is no use for Hitzone Skins, so i decided to make some Close Combat ones.
At greater distances the Hitzone Skins fade out smoothly and you see the normal Tank Skins.

Important! The Close Combat Hitzone Skins work only when you set your Texture Quality to "High"!

The 8 different Variations:

• B&WN - Black & White Normal
  
• B&WC - Black & White Close Combat
  
• O&WN - Original & White Normal
  
• O&WC - Original & White Close Combat
  
• B&CN - Black & Color Normal
  
• B&CC - Black & Color Close Combat
  
• O&CN - Original & Color Normal
  
• O&CC - Original & Color Close Combat

Big thanks goes to Jonpol and Nooben. I use their skins as templates. I look at their skins to
get the correct location for the Hitzones. Then i paint the Hitzones by hand in my Skins.

I don't know if this tank is available on the NA server, but i added the M4A2E4 Medium Tank.
It was a gift for the european Beta Players that played more than 1000 rounds during the beta.
Until now there was no Hitzone Skins for this tank and i developed it on my own.

I wouldn't like to apply the skins, but i d'like to know/learn where the hitzones are.
Would you have pictures of the tanks ? Where can I find them ?

other than the skins being help full it would be cool if you could do all tank in the black and white skin style it would make a very nice skin pack. nice work though

Huh, this could be useful.
Even though I don't like the look of clown car skins, I still need some practice on where to shoot tanks properly. Going to try this out on a few tanks and see how they work.
