Sorry.  The models are nice, but the 'rare bonus codes' are far from being an attraction to buy.

So this is pretty cool that finally we're getting these models here in North America. I saw these on display during Toy Fair in Nurnburg earlier this year and of course because I'm a nerd.. I was quite excited even though I have all these prem tanks. I plan to buy a Sherman or two and the T34-85. It was pointed out to me that the "Type 59" is in fact not a Type 59 but a T55A model... so.. there's that.

Actually no since what's implied here is that they are going to be distributed into North America.. which is news/new. Until now they weren't brought into NA.

Too bad that none of the "rare" tanks are that rare.  Maybe try some of the tanks off the http://forum.worldoftanks.com/index.php?/topic/380275-status-of-rare-and-unreleased-premium-tanks-in-the-gift-shop/ list to increase kit sales.

These are really cool I like the Ferdinand but more so because of the model than the bonus code it looks great. I wouldn't mind having a few of these being a model builder myself.

Why not make models of the prototype tanks, one offs or ones that never left the drawing board I can find model tigers an T-34s by the dozen

I'd love a maus, Lowe, mutatnt6, T30 and some others

I believe that most of these are not new toolings for the models so they are as we say in the industry "repop's" of old molds. By today's standards these models are very basic that's not to at all say bad.. they're just simpler to make which would make them EXCELLENT models for guys thinking about either starting modeling or getting back into it (like I did because of playing WoT-this game got me interested in making models again after years of not making 1 model now i'm making them like crazy thanks to WoT).

Also in these models there are decal sheets with some of the emblems from WoT included so if you wanted to you could use them on the models.

The question is can we encourage the marketing/sales folks at WG to get these widely distributed. I regularly visit Hobby Lobby's and these are not in fact for sale yet. Maybe they will be part of the Xmas planogram but for now they're not in stock from what i've seen. I was just in several last week and picked up a Pz 2 F Tamiya model and these kits were no where to be seen.

We also need these sold to Michael's too please... ;)

All I gotta do is pick the one with the highest value tank I already have. A model, some codes, some gold.

Where is the model for AMX ELC bis?!?!?!?!?  It can't be too hard to produce a model kit for it, so where is it!??!!?

Because Italeri does not make those tanks.

Again.. not made as a kit AFAIK. Molds for plastic models (and slot cars-my industry) cost about 60-100k depending on the pieces... quite expensive.

Maus is made by Dragon/Orange Hobby

Lowe is made by Amusing Hobby

Mutant6, well, Black Label (Dragon) makes a M6 and there is a conversion kit on eBay every now and then that has the new turret.

T30  No polykits of them or any of that series of development tanks.  There may be a resin kit but I have never looked for it.  A rumor I heard at a show a while back was that Black Label (Dragon) was working on the series. *Hopes!*  But who knows until the kit hits shelves or online sites.

That is in fact a Type 59 model.  If it was a T-55, it would not have the ventilator dome below the folded MG seen in the below picture (taken off their site).

You could always build it as a T-54 model  if you wanted though... the only difference between the two is the paint job.
