Hobby Lobby would be one of the dealers of these as you can see from the post it's Hobbico which is one of the larger distributors of hobby products in North America. So any hobby shop that would deal with Hobbico would be able to order these kits.

Well I agree about the kits they are offering being a bit long in the tooth, most of the molds date back to the mid-70's afaik but I do think this is a really cool thing that WG have done. I don't see this as a negative at all.

I hope they do more of this!

(and sell them to Michael's too since there's one near me but no Hobby Lobby)

Ehh, not really a fan of Italeri kits. If it was a Trumpeter/Dragon or maybe even Tamiya, then maybe.

I'll probably get a chaffee.  Although there's no "Blackjack" or jollyroger like mine has...... and chaffee is stock so... hmm

"Historical" I mean.

So 30 for a chaffee model 1000 gold + 750g for the t1e6 i have + a slot.  That's not bad.

The models look pretty nice on their own as far as detail goes.  And I can probably fabricate the stuff it's 'missing'

Would have been a GREAT thing to get had they not JUST made it so that you dont get gold from premium codes that you have the premium for already. I'd love a model, but honestly i dont really like the camo being applied automatically(Not a complete dealbreaker but for the money and without any other incentives i could get an unpainted model of equal or greater quality), and i would have liked some British tanks, so i think ill pass.

No. Im pretty sure you wont get the T1E6 gold due to the recent changes to premium codes. You'll get the "credit equivalent" which is exactly why im not buying

Reading is fundamental.

View PostWargaming's premium tank compensation whatever

There are still transactions that will compensate the player Gold instead of the Credits, and those would be the following:

- Purchasing/being gifted a Premium Tank that you already own

- Winning a Premium Tank in a live event (Twitch stream, player gathering, social media, etc)

- The Premium Tank is re-balanced substantially in-game and a refund is offered

- Winning a Premium Tank via a Tournament (Grand Finals Countdown, Furious Five, etc.)

So yes, in this case since you are "buying" the code for the tank, you get gold in this sort of case.

If they won't ship it to Canada, then I will be extremely mad... I want that tiger model w/ the Pz.b2!

I was going to buy a Tiger1, but does not ship outside of US. thanks for nothing.

I used to do some models ages ago;

find a reputable and specialized store in your area,

and they should be able to get it for you,

even if it means ordering overseas.

Serious modelers will likely pass on these (I know I will) as there are superior offerings on the market. I only buy Italeri for the few odd tanks the big boys haven't made yet like the Schwerer Wehrmacht Schlepper. The older molds especially can be a bit fiddly and the detail a bit crude by today's standards.

And why is the Panther painted gray? Why do none of the camo schemes depicted in-game for the Germans look like no photos I've ever seen? Close, but not quite.

EDIT: Looking at the Ferdinand, it appears to be a reworking of the 70's Elefant mold as it still has all the same errors as the Elefant did. I would assume these are all old molds freshened up a tad for this release. They really aren't worth more than the $30 or so they are charging.

Bought the Ferdinand, Tiger I and M4. Thanks to a little shop in my home town They where pretty cheap/normal priced. Unlike the price they go for on Amazon.

I hope the WoT Roll Out Italeri series has tanks like the Maus, Tog II*, Jagpanther II, Jagpanzer E 100, ect. soon. Please Tog II* and Maus, those are impossible to find in 1/35 scale. Dragon's Maus is no longer manufactured.

Remember kids always keep rooms well ventilated when gluing your models :P

Also what happened with the Tamiya partnership? This looks nice though i might pick up the Leo1.

Any modeling enthusiasts should also visit these forums here at Armorama Some of these guys here really know their tanks and put a lot of detail into their builds, many kitbash and create their own parts to be more accurate really neat stuff.

I can get all of these tanks and paints in the UK at half the asking price and get a bigger scale model aswell, looks like wargaming plastered all over the box makes something unique for advertising hence the price hike.

No thanks I will stick to Airfix in the uk at a price that gives more value for your money

I have built Italeri armor before and it is usually pretty good. If you are a sometimes (or no times) modeler, I would suggest you steer clear. I wonder how many people who watched this would be disappointed that the paint scheme didn't magic itself onto the model like in the video. Basically, if you don't have an airbrush, you are going to end up with a crappy paint job. WoT would do well to make the models specific to WoT  - prepainted or special decals. I didn't see decals special enough to be worth it. As for making special, unusual WoT AFVs, if a model company doesn't have a tank already, they wouldn't make a new mold just for WoT. That takes quite a bit of effort. So in other words my assessment is, if you are into modeling, just get a normal model of the vehicle you want. For those that don't model - stay away. Those tracks are, in fact, in individual pieces and it takes a lot of patients and know how to put on together. You can get cool effects with individual linked tracks, but it is not easy. Here is a JPanther I made years ago:

It, coincidentally, is a Italeri model.

Here is what you have to do for individual link tracks:

I made a jig to get them together. You do them in runs, then put them on the tank. For the curves, you let the glue set slightly on one of you runs (you do the straight ones at one time and the curves another) then place them on the tank.

You paint the tracks prior to putting them on the vehicle:

The end result does look great, but it is not for the faint of heart.

This is the Tamiya 1/35th Sturmtiger. I also used the Aber photoetch kit 35 043

Please stop selling the Lefh...

I saw 2 sellers with the Ferdinand kit on Amazon.  About $100.  I doubt too many leFH1882s will show up from this.
