I am going to go all noob here I suspect, but I don't care and I want to know. I see in the chat that players refer to other players as "re-rolls" or enquire as to whether they have "re-rolled".

Can someone please explain the following too me:

  1. What does this term "re-roll" mean?
  2. How do you know that a players has performed this action?

Sorry for the stupid question.

Huge Noob.

Re-rolls are players who creates new accounts and plays well enough that their stats looks different than to their original account.

Most rerolls normally have less than 9k battles and with unicum/superunicum stats.

its when an experienced player with one account, starts a new account and starts all over, usually to get higher stats, now that they know how the game works, and which tanks are best... thats the straight forward answer.

a re-roll is when you start a new account for wot with the intention of having better base stats. when most ppl start out the game they don't play well which means their stats don't look as good as they want so they start over after having learned how to play to just look better stat wise. they trade all the progress they made on that account just to look better so they can more easily join a clan. its done purely for looks.

Also some re-rolls are "public" accounts for sockeputting by different players in a clan and their allies.

Others re-roll to get rare tanks.

Just talking about a true re-roll.  Meaning re-rolling just for the sake of overall stats.  Because per the earlier poster some folks re-roll for various reasons.

But in regards to these "true" re-rolls. Most of them are good players, but their overall is lower than their recent.  Hence their re-rolling.

What I really can't fathom is why they would throw away that valuable XVM camo, not to mention crews/lines researched, for E-peen.

Players so obsessed with their stats and whether they're yellow green blue or purple that they give up their old account and start a new one just to look good to a rapidly deteriorating, rabid community.

Thank you everyone so much for all your replies. This definitely clarifies the matter. Sounds like a whole lot of effort just for some stats. I have no idea what my stats look like and I am not about to start over from scratch to get it better. I try and unlock as many standard tanks up to tier 10 as I can. If I have all the tier 10 tanks unlocked I will be happy, no matter what my stats are. I have a few premiums, but they are for making silver credits and free XP.

Bravo mate.

Getting better at a game at your own pace is one thing. Caving under pressure of rude and abusive players who keeping calling out stats is another. Best thing to do in such cases is to use the blacklist.

Blacklisting is ok, but killing them is more fun and boy can they complain when they get killed, especially by me.  :)

After wrecking your account stats learning or just not caring , some players decide they need a FRESH start and an account that shows them as they are now not one that shows a history . Sometime it works out .

Re-rolls are not acceptable as WoT is life. Working hard and getting the vehicles you like is hard work and takes time.

How any one could forsake their precious account and start a new one just to look good stat wise is amazing as we all know stuff happens in battles we cannot control.

So in a sentence, Re-rolls are like the Bill of Rights. It looks great on paper, but it's not the real story and can be full of hot air!

Some rerolls travelled back in time in order to make new accounts with excellent stats, just to make pubbies look... well... like pubbies.

I appreciate the approval mate but I'm not Russian. The avatar is there because the man was a great tank ace and in a KV no less.

"REROLL" its a term invented by those that cant learn how to play the game even if they are beyond the 5k of battles, same its for "warpack", "Hacks", "Aimbot", so using this kind of terms, they try to excuse their lack of skill with [edited]

I know players who made a new account to move from EU to NA server because of the ping.

Wonder if WoT will ever enable us to transfer accounts between servers. I would love to be able to transfer to the EU server and see if the ping is any better.
