If this happens, developers will have spoiled the game.
Decreasing the tank statistics historically is the best tank of the time..

Tell me about it..  I spent plenty of money converting experience to finally acquire the Maus.  If they nerf it, it just won't be the same tank I was grinding towards.  That ain't really fair to me at all.

I am sad :( also frustrated.

Maus has like 55% win ratio, that's why they want to nerf it. But I'd rather have them buff the IS-7 so that it is more useful than making the Maus less useful.
Or maybe nerf arty too? :Smile-hiding:

Christ.. Nerfing Maus health to 2400 or whatever I heard or at least is in consideration.
I've seen bad maus drivers go down in less then a minute in a fire fight.

This just proves that when enough people bitch and moan about something it gets nerfed.
Maus has LEAST DPM on all T10's and dropping that health completely nullifies it's existence in late game CW.
Guess I'll be using E-100 instead of Maus then, even though it's accuracy that is below average already considering it's German gun is getting nerfed as well.
Sigh.

I wouldn't look to the E-100 to be the savior.  At least as it stands right now.

Well, 2800 HP for Maus is good.

I disagree.  It's slow as a snail and it's huge which makes it an arty magnet.  It has the worst gun of the tier 10s.  The only thing is has is it's HP.

Regardless what anyone says, I laugh at IS-7's no matter what tank I'm in. I actually prefer to face those then like T30 in a Panther II for example. Why?
Tread lock the bugger to a open spot and laugh as he is ripped apart by artillery and you scurry away at 100% health since he cannot depress the gun enough to hit you.

But -400 hp on maus. I can live with that.
Now just give me the Jagdtiger's better 128 as a counter-buff for that HP. :P

Haha! If the maus had a JT gun the win rate would be 70+% :D

It would also look badass.

They'd compensate by giving it a PZII engine or something

Isn't this just a rollback of the HP buff the Maus got in January? I thought the extra hp were just a stopgap measure to make the maus a bit more playable while giving the developers more time to fix the flawed skirt armor/hitboxes. The hitboxes were finally fixed in April, but they did not immediately remove the extra hp. It seems the devs are satisfied that the maus is competitive enough and are finally going to take away the bonus hp.

They stated that it was "working as intended" in April.  Taking away the HP will just mean a few months of VERY angry maus drivers before they return it to 3200, or buff it in some other way to make it playable again.

I spent a fair amount of Gold converting experience to get teh Tank that was and is feared on the battle field. Mostly because of that 3200 HP, it is not a fast tank, nor is it a fast loading tank, you cannot hide it, you cannot suprise the enemy with it. However I still like i, just for the fact I can do a tremendous job supporting other tanks, as long as a is-7 or some arty does not drom a shell on me.

When they drop the 3200 HP i will still use my Maus, however it will not be the same. Personally I think they should do just the opposite, raise the HP to 4000 and double the price of the tank in both experience and silver. Keeping the tank closer to the legend it was, and will always be, most of these other heavy tanks that never saw the batle field and were not tested being blown up...

The Mause was deplotyed in at least one instance against allied troops...

I don't think the devs would even consider raising the HP, but it would be ncie to be able to pump a few more shells into a Maus for more xp... I just hope they don't go through with it so I can have the awsome tank I've been grinding for.. been waiting for the patch though to actually start. :P

Do you have any proof or a URL from a dependable website where they said it was deployed? I couldn't find one.

Why don't they just compromise and make it 3000HP instead? That would please my OCD-ness for even numbers.

First of all, that would be ridiculous, why would you purposely make one tier 10 better than the others?

Second, the Maus never saw battle, ever. There is a "rumor" that it may have aided the defense of its testing facility when the Soviets attacked and captured it, but it was never actually fielded. The only Maus that was ever put together is now in a museum in Russia.

well yeah because it takes you a full day to get your vehicle back. If they didn't have his, 1/2 a team would be driving a tier 10 heavy tank and the other 1/2 would be artillery with a mix of mediums to fill in the gaps.

Because of this patch? Why do people think this is going to break the Maus, it's just going to make it so you can't take that 1 extra shell, it won't change it that drastically.
