Wow! I am going to give this a go this evening. A +1 for me as it looks classy. Am I right in assuming those numbers are the front side and rear armor values of the highest level turret the tank may have if it has a turret that is?

The only thing I would like added is vehicle types over the names when you hit Alt. The longer health bar is nice for sure.

Yup I just noticed this. I hate it now. PLEASE add vehicle type over names when you hit Alt.

Great job, was waiting for the bright colors  :Smile-playing:

1 thing thou the platoon icon now displays 0 no mater what number your platoon is. not a big deal just letting you know  :Smile_great:

I love it honestly just that one small issue I had would make it a little better in my opinion, still a top notch mod.

Did you not notice the different colors of the icons?

Brown=Heavy
Green=Medium
Olive=Light
Blue=TD
Red=SPG

Although I personally preferred having the little silhouettes instead of just a name. Gave me a slightly greater appreciation for what I was aiming at.

I did notice that. I appreciate that and all the work he put in. What I am talking about is when someone is right in front of you (an enemy) you hit alt to see what they are driving. You have to look at their name then look to the right to see what they are driving instead of having that info over their tank like it is by default. I am talking about the tank avatar not their roster icon BTW.

Not quite understanding what you mean. Mind posting a screenshot of Pogs 5 in game?

I cant right now, I am at work. I will give you an example.

By default when you are driving your tank, you can press "alt" and the names, tier and tank name appear over the tanks driving around. Do it when you spawn in your allies names and tank type appear over their heads when you press alt. With this mod only their names and hitpoint bar appear over their tank. Not the icon bar but the actual tank.

He's right. And as I rely on the "alt" tool a great deal during battles, I feel somewhat crippled without it. If anyone can find some sort of temporary fix until Pog updates that would be nice.

Really? When your in game, hold ALT. Usually the TYPE of tank appears over the name (IE, T-44, IS, VK3001P, etc)  Now all that I can see is if its a Heavy, Medium, Light, SPG, TD. There's a big difference between a T1 Heavy Tank and a IS Heavy Tank

I use this now smart marker mod I like it. :Smile-playing:  It keeps the icon and whatever else you turn on above the tank
Spoiler
Spoiler

you don't have to hit alt no more, I dl it and in the settings text google translated it so I knew what each 1 was and change the o to a 1 in the <show> field, both files go in the flash folder and walla always up.  It has a bunch you can turn on-or- off like: player name,actual hit points, percentage just to name a few. hope this helps :Smile-izmena:   OH and im using pogs 5 with it  :Smile_honoring:

P.S. It fixed the platoon sheild number for me too ;)

I really do appreciate the work that you are putting into the mod, but can you make a version that looks like 3.2? That was the best in my opinion. I am personally not a fan of the enlarged names. Thanks again.

Gorini4 for Smart Marker Mod

DOWNLOAD v5.2

Version History
v.5.0 : Initial release
v5.1 : fixed armour values for Ferdinand, Panther and PzIII/IV
v5.2 : Added Smart Maker Mod + English translation

First you need to untick Name and Icon in WOT Settings.
SmarMarkerMod.txt file provided with my own parameters. If they do not fit your needs, edit them following the below instructions :

How to configure Smart Marker Mod

1. Open SmarMarkerMod.txt with notepad

<Comment> tag tells you what information the marker item is :
HP %
HP BAR
HP NUMBER
CLASS ICON
TANK ICON (Contour icon)
TANK NAME
PLAYER NAME
PLATOON ICON
ASSIST ARROW

<Show> tag is used to tell if the marker is shown in standard view (permanently)
1 = visible
0 = hidden

<Alt> tag is used to tell if the marker is shown in ALT view (when pressing the ALT key)

Note : Both markers can be set with the same parameter example shown in both views

<ShowX> and < ShowY>
are the coordinates of the marker in normal view . Used to place the info where you want. X is horizontal axis, Y is vertical axis
For X axis : minus coordinates place the marker low on the ground while a high value place it high.
For Y axis : minus coordinates place the marker on the left a high value place it on the right.

<AltX> and <AltY> are coordinates of the marker in ALT view

Note : the same marker can be visible in both views but can have different coordinates
