Tier 1 is already filled with bots.  Problem is that half of them you cant kill since they are on your team.

This game mode is way to hard. I swear bots have hacks and aimbot I haven't yet to even do damage let alone get a kill against them :( 0/10 we will have no new players after they get hacked to death by bots

A use for my Tier 2 freebie premiums.  Nice.

This should not just be for 2 tier with 2 maps. I appreciate the fact that WG is trying to add pve but the reason its so fun in aw is because you can play it in the higher tiers. Also there are more than 2 maps you can play in aw. At least make it tiers 1-5.

Good way of getting new players used to the basics of playing a tank in my opinion.  I liked the PVE mode on WoWs when I would play.  Hopefully WG develops PVE more, makes it tougher for higher tier players in the future.  I think it would be fun.

Okay. Love the idea, but....

You need more than just two maps for the first three tiers. The problems you hear about all the time that don't involve game quality (corridor maps, missing bushes, the e25) all involve player quality.

If you look at this analytically, you might see it as your greatest problem. A player comes online, plays a few games, finds that he or she likes the game. He or she progresses and finds him/herself confronted by people with thousands of games who think their win8 changes their name to "Jehovah" who lay into players for their bad play or just throw their hands up and scream about "noob teams" etc.

When it comes to learning the basics, it's more than just "run at them and shoot" it's using cover, and massed fire and distraction side-scraping and a dozen other things that it would be really good to have players learn, not by having it beaten into them by encounters with angry, overweight sixteen-year-olds, but by playing in a PVE mode that teaches players basic survival and then the elements of technique.

Once you got that down, you could start on a test-driving mode for players with new vehicles so they could learn their characteristics before taking them into combat. Yes, start that right after you set up a firing range where people learn to track their opponents without having to burn hundreds of rated games.

You could do amazing things here. Please don't stop with the kindergarten playground.

Wish everyone could play against bots.

I'm tired of playing with, and against bots.  The player vs environment mode I seem to be stuck in blows.  I yearn for human teams at tiers 8+...

If you haven't changed this since the technical test --- Please, please, please add platoon support! Some people join this game as a group, and would appreciate this.

and then we'd have potato's fail platooning in this 'new' mode too...

How is this different than the teams I was against last night. They we're all BOTS

these bots actually shoot and move around an stuff. in other words they are more aggressive. they are still easy to kill though.

I know a few players I can nominate to be the bots....

I know a few players with 30 thousand battles that should go back and only be able to fight in that mode against bots because there win 8 is a whopping75

If wargaming was smart, this could be used as a catch all for gold spamming bots. Force the first 10 games in this mode (no opt out), and if the free gold message appears or if the player idles through all 10 matches IP ban the account. This would drastically minimize that gold bot annoyance in game.

In Proving Ground mode, bots will act as the opponents and battles will take place in a 10v15 format. On one team will be three to six players, and the opposing team will be made up of 15 bots.

is it three to 6 players or 3-7? the text says 6, the graphic says 7.

Is there a limit on how much PVE 1 person can play?

can I just use my dirty tier 2 lights for clubbing actual bots forever?

wait, would this count for actual winrate?

AFAIK 10 battles will be counted, after that the game won't bother keeping track of stats.

They should add support to add bot in training rooms, just so you can test out tanks without the trolls of a training room and expenses of random battles.

10 vs 15 and bots?  You have that already it's pub battles, if you REALLY wanted to "train" your new players you would have restricted Premium Tank purchases years ago to FIRST grinding one tank of the required level.  That is the best learning experience.

This is a great idea way overdue.  I wonder how many new players got discouraged being constantly hammered by the "shouldn't be playing low tiers" types.  I used it on WOWS and still do when I get a new ship to get accustomed to it before jumping into randoms.  Is there going to be an upper limit on tiers allowed in the game type?  I understand there will be no money earned after the first ten battles, so I assume it will be a dead loss for expenses, but I can imagine there are people out there who would like to maybe try out the play style on their new tier 7, for instance, before going to randoms.  all in all, good idea.
