Would be nice if it was just like WoWS with all tiers and reduced rewards. I'll play WoWS all day like that and its a super plus to that game. If WoT had the exact same bots mode as WoWS i'd play more Wot and enjoy it too.

Is this just for new players?  I'd like to shoot a bot too, just for lols.

Kinda interested too...but honestly the bot mode on wows is so boring, I gave it up after 2 battles - everything was so very predictable.

And, the pay out was so low that getting your 'first win' of that day in pve was just a bad idea.

Yeah I can be an under achiver for ever. Seriously though I could see playing this mode when I come home from a long day of work and just want to see a bunch of tanks get blown up.

A great idea, long overdue.   However, good for WG for finally trying to help beginners learn.

This is a great idea way overdue.  I wonder how many new players got discouraged being constantly hammered by the "shouldn't be playing low tiers" types.  I used it on WOWS and still do when I get a new ship to get accustomed to it before jumping into randoms.  Is there going to be an upper limit on tiers allowed in the game type?  I understand there will be no money earned after the first ten battles, so I assume it will be a dead loss for expenses, but I can imagine there are people out there who would like to maybe try out the play style on their new tier 7, for instance, before going to randoms.  all in all, good idea.

Ha, Kaj, I swear I did not read your comment before I posted mine.

Will the players earn credits and xp for fighting these battles? I know they did that in WOWS

Similar to WoWS. Nice.

You know other than it being limited to Tier I and II...

You know, this should be expanded for all tiers with free resupply and repairs but no profit.

Totally disagree.  The bot battles in WoWS is great for moving up through the different stages\levels of the game.  I quickly and easily moved up to level 5 and got my Tirpitz Captain 4 skill points playing against bots over a couple of days.  It is a great way to play the game and still advance.  Of course you advance slower but you almost always win and still make good exp and money.  It gives new players a stress free way to get into the game and get a decent captain ready for random battles.

Download XVM.  You will see that we are ALL ... already playing against "bots".

And the sad part is a lot of players play worse than the bots. It takes a special kind of person to get a <10 win8. We've all seen them.

I would take it a step further. I think PvE in WoWS is much more enjoyable than PvP.

Yeah, the credit/xp reward is pretty low compared to what you get in random battles and needs a large buff, but it's still very possible to play all the way up to tier 10 without ever setting foot in PvP (and I fully intend to.) I would argue that coop in WoWS is pretty incomplete still, but it's already more fun than having to fight other players.

For PvE done better, look at Armored Warfare. Choose your difficulty level -- do you want less stress in this match, or do you want better rewards? The hard battles give plenty of xp and credits, and even the easy battles are way more fun than worrying about whether this battle is one of the 45% that you are required to lose because "balance."

As far as vehicle combat games go, I've all but stopped playing WoT in favor of WoWS co-op and AW PvE. A proper PvE mode in WoT would change that in a hurry; shooting stuff in AW just isn't as satisfying as seeing a giant orange chunk of enemy health disappear every time your BL-10 lands a hit.

TL;DR -- Proving ground is a step in the right direction, full-fledged coop or PvE would completely renew my interest in the game.

This is a big thing for me. The should, in a sense do here what they gave to WoWs, and allow any tier to participate. Given MM, and bots are just a mirror of your vehicle,it's highly plausible. Give reduced rewards for PvE because it's not meant to be a full grind mode, and it's perfect. Much like you, I'd return to tanks if this was opened to all tiers. As it sat when i quit, winning was a job, doing exceptional was a chore (With how often you had to be the hero and win it all). And, I'm terribly sorry, but I stopped playing this game to be competitive a long time ago. Many of us do want to be able to sit down, and play a game. Not clock into our second/third job.

I look forward to seeing if this pans out

when bae says she loves you, but doesn't really care. still, at the lower tiers, its basically bot skill anyway, no?  why not learn from real peoples mistakes?  Still would be fun to play this, instead of 'clubbing' at a lower tier.

I like the sound of PvE in WoT, but IMO this should be available for all tiers. Not just Tiers I-II.

I would love to see a new mode for end game tier 10's for PVE coop style. I hardly play my tier 10 cause of the costs and no more advancements. but a tier10 coop bot game mode would be hell fun.
