Hey guys I just got WOT a few days ago and so far it seems pretty enjoyable.
I am curious if anyone knows of any way to increase my frame rate while im playing?
I hover around 14-17 FPS while im playing but during an intense fight it dips to 10
sometimes even lower. I feel like this game would be much more enjoyable if i could
actually react as fast as other players.

Thanks, Tim

Have you already tried to turn down your graphics settings to the lowest possible and dont forget the sound quality too.  If your running onboard sound this may give you a few more precious fps.

A good start for us to help you would be to list your system specs so we then have an idea were your problem is.

http://www.systemreq...tslab.com/cyri/ This is a good site to see if you have any specs not up to date with WoT, and as said before, turn down the graphics as nessecary.

I have turned down the graphics but not the sound, didn't think of that.
I updated my graphics card driver and tried to on the sound devices. That
gave me another frame or so.

SPECS:
-AMD athalon 2 X4 630
-ATI Radeon 4200
-ATI HD audio
-Realtek HD audio
-1 gig of ram i think

Semms the grafix card is my prob

Your graphics card is bringing you way down.

I friend of mine went from the same card as yours to an ATI HD 5770 in his desk top and he can not belive how good it is.

Not sure if your system is a lap top or desk top. If it is a desk top at least you can upgrade it on the cheap.

This is useful as well and pinned in the newcomers section

It can help with low FPS as well as other stuff.

Personally I would take another look at your amount of RAM as well as other things already mentioned. 2Gb is the absolute minimum IMO :)

You can go into the game settings and turn off smoke, and track trails, etc. also to help your fps a little, but yes your graphics card has alot to do with it. I have the 5770 and it works just fine, but I am going to upgrade to a Nvidia soon because it is more centered around gaming.
