I'm having trouble seeing how wargamming thought the FV4005 was balanced when they are releasing this.

It is the longest 15cm gun ( L/63 vs L/40 on T30 and L/48 on Obj-704), the highest muzzle velocity but very low penetration, worse than 128L/61. I think AP has least 300mm pen.

Why do people NEVER post the soft stats. This is why Rita's blog and armored patrol suck. They leave out the most important details.

Spoiler

So. Gun handling is actually very solid for a TD.

In fact, this has the exact same gun handling as the current Waffle but with significantly better turret traverse bloom, 0.173 vs Waffle's 0.24 (128mm)

But it worse than waffe150.

Good accuracy with a russian heavy-tank aiming time. Good speed, no armor (like 0...none, nada, nothing, non-existent).

Very situational, absolutely terrible 95% of the time. A Waffentrager E-100 with only the bad parts, as expected.

So this will be like a buffed up version of the Rhm and the current Wt non E-100 version with a far better gun. It's a TD with no armor at all, it's not a brawler, it's a pure sniper so obviously it will have its drawbacks - say on city maps where it will be destroyed by anyone and anything. On open maps though *cough* prok *cough* this tank should really be able to shine.

This thing is fast enough to catch up with and support a medium push and it has enough depression to fight close quarters in hilly areas like Westfield. It'll also be able to fight in the MIDDLE of Prokhorovka due to its depression and mobility, not to mention it can take advantage of several medium early game areas such as the middle of Cliff.

It'll be 10x more versatile than the WTE100. The limited turret traverse is a bummer but that can be helped by poking around corners sidescrape style to minimize exposure time, and I'm used to doing that with the 183.

Its actually more like the Scorpion than the E4, garbage armor, decent mobility, good gun, although it probably doesn't have the best camo.

It has Panther's hull, I think it doesn't have camo better than GW Panther.

If nothing else it makes more sense than the Big Waffle!  Probably what WG should have introduced in the first place.:B

that is WG stats so, in honest terms 60 km is downhill and its probably going to be 45-50ish normally

The 22.5 Hp/t makes it so it will reach the max speed limit with ease.

This, If you're deciding wether or not to go for it make sure to factor in that every time you play this tank you will be reminded of how crappy it looks.

Extremely PISSED, I did not grind my  a$$ off when this came out to have it changed into a PoS. I wanted an auto-loader and this is not an auto-loader. Not only but limited turret radius to boot.

Might as well go back to the tier 9 TD!

WG - Give us all back our entire XP and LET us decide what to do next not force some crap on us and waste our time we invested in this.

Haha, the ELC actually has drawbacks, I don't think you've been paying attention to just how much tier 10 TDs benefit from this game's out of control power creep.

Ya, that is why almost all unicorns play mediums.....

Wonder if the shell velocity is the same as the 15cm.  If it is and people suddenly doesn't have the laser pointer high velocity 12.8cm.......I see the reaction as being on the negative side.

you're thinking of the wrong tank, the replacement doesn't use the Panther hull but instead uses a variation of the hull that is on the WT auf Pz4 tier 9 TD.

You are wrong. Panzer IV suspended on a single torsion bar suspension.

undesarchiv_Bild_146-1979Anh.-001-10,_Panzer_IV,_Ausf._F-1.jpg">

And Panther suspended on a dual torsion bar suspension. But this hull would be modified, it would lower.

This is an another information. http://www.achtungpa...cket-series.htm
