Hi Guys,

As getting feedback on the streams is about as rough as blood from a stone, I'm hoping those that have been watching the streams are happy to click some votes to tell us what could be better and how we could all be better. I enabled the view of who voted what so that I can PM some folks to elaborate on their votes. Generally though, post your feedback, we would love to hear your views and feedback on how we do.

Thanks, and o7

Honestly, The Clan League has been the only thing to somewhat save the big clans. CW2.0 sucks, and this kept everyone mildly entertained.

Honestly enjoyed the streams, Im a caller, and thoroughly enjoy the educational parts as there is always room to improve, and watching the top 10 battle it out has been a great way to learn. Id much prefer watching events like this, than WGLNA tbh. The Gold League is interesting, but in such a minor format it just doesn't have the same entertainment factor, and ability to pull off some crazy stuff as 14v14 T10s.

+1 Allu

As for the rustiness, you seemed fine btw, Hopefully we see some more soon.

Personally dont like hyp cause mawho, but yeah, this event [edited]rocks.

Gabe and tigers should cast together btw, I think that would go great kappa

Other than that, chirping is pretty fun, the streams are normally really good, and WG should honestly intergrate the community casting. Someone like Gabe knows a lot more about calling then Hyp or vegan, and if they are gonna comment on how teams are playing in the moment, they should probably get someone who really can.

Last Question

Hypnotik was responsible for organizing this event from scratch(which is why it isn't on EU, SEA or RU)

Credit where it's due, there were quite a few others in the NA office that were a big part of making this all happen too. But the 2nd option to this question is just awful, so vote 1!

Really, its just entertaining watching top clans play each other and having people that have been in top level CWs casting the matches. The between the match map breakdown, in match casting, and post game analysis is usually informative and fun. Its a proper mix of entertainment for the more experienced viewer and education for the less experienced viewer.

I would let Loz talk more if he stayed awake. :)

Come on, just send Inchon a link to a pretty PowerPoint and he'll suddenly go quiet. Then you can talk all you want!

Clan league has been interesting. The community casting has largely been great so far. I think that some more time and experience will add some polish, but I find the casting much better than the overblown screaming and shouting you see in people casting StarCraft games (seriously, that type of casting is extremely annoying)

I honestly have no major critiques, and like that the different casters have made the matches I have watched entertaining.

My only concern is that is simply too little too late. The tournament format was always terribly dull to me, and 14v14 tier 10 has been so much more entertaining to watch that there's no comparison.

The play-by-play needs improvement, but it was an acceptable level for being inexperienced community casters. I was overall very impressed by the streams. Sexy accents are sex.

Shake,

In order to improve, is there a specific example or event that you can describe for us to see an opportunity to improve the play-by-play?

Inchon

There were definitely some stylistic differences between Inch/Eural/Loz and Allurai/Rat. However, I thought both sets had some pretty good synergy. I thought the use of StratSketch definitely added to the broadcast, both for pre-battle and post battle analysis. One thing I thought could use some improvement is that at times the casters seemed to struggle a little using the StratSketch tools. I do understand that you guys were putting things down on the fly and that is not always the easiest thing to do. I also thought there were times during the play-by-play that you were a little too micro when you could have been macro and vice versa. I know that is difficult because you are trying to capture everything going on, both in the big picture, while highlighting individual play, and capturing all of the key and or exciting events during the fights without the benefit of a production staff to do stuff like replays, take care of the camera work, etc. I though you guys did a very good job, especially considering you guys are doing this as a hobby and not as a profession, and do not have a production staff supporting you.  You guys were definitely value added to the event.

Also, shots for ammo racks was great. Inchon definitely made the stream more, ummm... intersting after a couple of ammo racks.
