The Studly Utility - for World of Tanks, and World of Warships

***Download Link***

(Requires OSX version 10.9 - Last Updated Feb 25, 2017)

Current version (2.4) designed for:

  • World of Tanks: 9.17
  • World of Warships: 5.11

Will likely work without issue for future versions of the game(s). Will be updated if required

And a video where I just go over a few things, incase you want to see what it is first:

How to "fix" the 9.15 issues (more like a band-aid than a fix)

Tips and Notes:

  • The "Fix the Black Screen" button in the WoWS troubleshooting section is only for players running an Intel 6000 graphics card. Other players should not click this button.

  • World of Warships doesn't currently have a download link on their website, instead you will be taken to the forums for NA and EU servers where the download link was posted by the developers. I have not found a download link for RU or Asia servers so instead for those servers you will be taken to a guide on how to convert an NA or EU server into an RU or Asia one.

  • To completely purge your computer of the game, click "delete completely", this will also get rid of the wrapper itself. If you wish to continue with a fresh install then you will need to get a new wrapper after using this button. Alternatively just click "reset wrapper" and "delete game files" to get rid of everything EXCEPT the wrapper.

  • If you have ANY ISSUES with the utility, please let me know!! I was only able to test this on two different computers.

Are you getting any errors? A window that flashes when you try to run it saying its shutting down?

If your posting in this thread does that mean you've downloaded my utility? Have you tried the "rest wrapper" or the "fix shutdown bug" buttons?

For those that are using it or care, I just updated the Utility to include download links to the various live and test servers. If you want it, get it hereor in the op.

I used this utility to complete a complete de-install of WoT and wrapper.  I then down loaded the latest wrapper and game and I'm now back in business!!!!

Thanks.

Regards,

Clay

NOTE: As this is an unsigned [untrusted] app, the best way to open it after downloading is to right mouse [control] click the app then select [Open] in the presented dialog box.

You only need to do this once as OS X interprets a click on the [Open] button as your consent to run this unsigned [untrusted] the next time[s] you open the app.

And yes   - this is a great utility that aggregates several resetting/troubleshooting methods into a GUI versus using command lines in Terminal.

Oops haha just noticed a bug that stopped you from creating a restore point if you already had in the past. Its fixed now. If for some reason that was a problem for you it should be good now.

Everyone in WoT should + 1 Dstud for his work on this wrapper. And WoT should pay him.

Haha I'm just happy that I've actually helped someone. Seriously, in my opinion there is very little thats more frustrating than when technology isn't working. Just glad to help make it a little less frustrating, cuz being frustrated is stupid.

Thanks for the compliment though mate! Means a lot :)
