Well if I wanted to write how to farm stats, I would just tell people to play their VK2801 for 50,000 games...

Those are all possibilities and true in certain cases.  In other cases the differences include:

4) Free XPing past bad modules
5) Free XPing past bad tanks
6) Playing lights and mediums
7) Avoiding playing most artillery
8) Focusing on playing certain strong vehicles rather than grinding up many lines concurrently
9) Using gold to buy crews
10) Using the same crew on 1 line
11) Using certain mods
12) Using a premium account
13) Using premium rounds
14) Platoon padding

So many assumptions in such little space.  Some of what you talk about is solid game concept but to say purples have these and blues don't?  Are they a differnce between greens and blues/purples?  Many times true.   The truth is many blues are people who have figured it out but are simply waiting on their averages to increase to become purple.

And the horrific thing is how you describe people's thought process.  It completely points out how terrible WNx is for the game.  Compare how often you talk about people thinking in terms of getting more damage and how infrequently you talk about people thinking about what is needed to WIN.

You are describing how Tazilon plays.

But these don't even need to be mentioned as these are basic things that teals and above just naturally do. I haven't played a less-than-elite tank in years, for instance.

I've always wondered why there is not a way to break out somebody's stats on solo pubbing, platoon pubbing, and clan wars.  I bet there is a big difference in solo vs platoon stats in most top win rate players.  I never see good players in bad platoon matches, where the vehicles do not complement each other, but I see it all the time in lower win rate players, like there was zero communication in discussing what tanks to play next.

Because there is zero communication and knowledge on what to play.  Two or especially three players with sub %50 win rates in a platoon increases the chances of a loss, its self defeating.  Triple arty platoon means you will get pushed by better players.    Armor wins games, so when you see the best players platoon most times they will bring one heavy as you cant trust random pubbies to front line for you.

I bet there is a big difference in solo vs platoon stats in most top win rate players. [3, or even 2 good players platooning obviously increases winrate, duh !  (but seems to have little effect on WN8, possibly a little negative effect actually) ]

Get an MT-25, PZ38NA, Chaffee or tier 2 Cruiser tank and spam non-stop gold?

Thanks for this post! Found some comments pretty hilarious. I'm still learning how to create opportunities, been watching a lot of streamers to figure out "how to" create opportunities and survive longer.

I don't have those, but I agree that in terms of stats all those things do make a difference, they won't give your skill but a player without those will have to do better to compensate the advantage they give in just pure statistics

And I will add Food

Wow, I just realized: being a crap pubbie means no pressure to farm WN8 (because I don't have any skill and the blues and purples will get it all anyway) or even to try and stay alive (I'm just roster filler anyway). Wow, that was liberating!!

If you're not interested in improving, that's not my problem.  I'm just providing resources for players who want to pass arguably the hardest hurdle, which is going from blue to purple.

Everyone started as a "crap pubbie," including me.  The question is whether you actually have the mentality and dedication to improve.  I'm helping players who do, and you don't seem to be one of them.

Well to be fair, most purple/blue players are strictly that. Damage farmers.

Players like Zeven are extremely rare. While he is thinking how can I win this game, most blue/purple are thinking how can I survive longer to farm more damage. Often the result is the same, a win, just how they get there differs.

This knowledge I obtained simply by watching unicum streams/videos.
