Are we allowed to use our gift card balance?

I have 50 bucks on Amazon that I have no use for since I don't use Amazon 99.999% of the time.

Great deal if you don't mind signing up for Amazon Payments (different from a regular Amazon account).  For those that don't know, Amazon Payments is restricted to US accounts only and you must give Amazon your SSN.

Seems like a decent deal, but I don't like how much they've made some things 'cash only' instead of buying with gold.

You have to set it up with them first, it never comes out of my gift card balance and when I questioned them about it they said I would have to set it up differently for that, I never bothered with it.

I didn't have to give them any other info, just linked it to my Amazon account.

You actually can't use Gift Card balances for Amazon Payments...It really is a bummer, because I never use Amazon but I have quite the stash of Gift Cards saved up. I spent an hour (Yay) talking to Customer Service on Amazon, and it took them that long to say that it was just impossible. Kind of stupid in my opinion, they really should add that as a feature.

i mean i know the top is 15% but whats the scale like..??

This is pretty awesome i use amazon all the time to buy my stuff since my card doesnt allow international transactions but through amazon it does. I just checked and if i buy 8k gold i get a extra 1045 on top of it for about 35.43 bucks but u get 6500 u only get 845 extra for 30 bucks so i am wonder should i spend the extra 5 bucks too get 200 extra gold from the bonus.

....yes I would do it....if you are like me and still enjoy this game, deep down you know you will eventually need to buy more gold so why not get them now on extra discount :-)
