Hi I was just wondering if anyone here has any real in depth info or images of the drum fed auto loaders we have in game.  I am quite interested in them as they seem like a really interesting concept for a fighting vehicle and I cannot find in depth info on them in real life.  I will readily admit I do not really know where to look for this type of information so any help will be appreciated.

I am especially interested in the Chez auto loaders as they seem to load a lot faster than the french ones.   And the 120mm auto loaders if there is any info out there on them

Most of the Chezch ones are prototypes (IIRC), so you'll be hard pressed for info on them.

You're better off looking for the more common information on the French AMX 13 and AMX 50 series.

Read about the AMX 13 series of light tanks, they're drum autoloaders and in use to this day, they've received all kinds of upgrades to keep them useful on a modern battlefield.

Ok cool.  Can anyone link me some real world info on the AMX 13 series of tanks?  A google search turns up mostly WoT AMX 13s.

What exactly are you looking for? The T69/T54E1 autoloaders were both drums. Unlike the AMX-13 type, which had autoloaders in the far bustle behind the crew, the US ones tended to be more forward, between the crew.

I will try and dig out my images for the AMX 13 drum loaders. They were not really auto loaders though as the gunner had to hand crank the mechanism (the commander also had a crank wheel he could operate).

Found my posts from 2012 on the EU forum

Well mostly I am interested in how they work and reload.  Mostly I am interested in the Czech ones as they have a really fast inner drum reload time and I am interested in how they work.  So I would say I am the most interested in T69/T54E1 style auto loader but really any info on it would be interesting as the idea of a drum autoloader seems to be really useful in real life and I am curious about how they work
