From the wot universe Ive built: Firefly, Tiger I, Churchil Mk VII, M12, Leopard C1(Canadian Leo 1) Panther M10, Chaffee, M4A3E8, M36 GMC.

I'll check out the LHS when I have time and see what kind of stuff they have.

I do have an Airfix P-51 still in-box, but it's not a tank.

Very interesting proposal indeed...im a big fan of WoT, history and modeling, often in smaller scales as it more affordable and accommodates smaller spaces.

I am a fan of VK medium and Lowe family heavy tanks as I have most of them in game and have discovered some 1:72 models of these available out there that would be a good group build if the kits could be obtained.

VK3001H - hard to find, also made by Modelltrans

http://henk.fox3000....by/72047/01.jpg

VK3001D - N/A

VK3002DB - hard to find, also made in 1:35 by Amusing Hobby

http://henk.fox3000....by/72046/01.jpg

VK3001P - not yet in production, the same company may also make a DW 2, VK2801 and a Rheinmetall Borsig

http://henk.fox3000..../pm72005/01.jpg

VK3601

http://www.ebay.ca/i...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

VK7201

http://www.ebay.ca/i...JEAAOSwrklVRQFj

LOWE - also made in 1:35 by Amusing Hobby

http://armorymodels....prototype-tank/

and...

Indien Panzer - N/A

I have pretty good knowledge of what WoT tanks have been made in 1:72 out there, even obscure kits, so if anyone is looking for information on an in game tank as a 1:72 model, please let me know!

Cheers,

MilanX3

If you are in summer camo and a surprise snow fall hits, I think you paint your tank with whatever you can find.

I have always wanted to see one painted pink.... Du Dum Du Dum Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Du Duuuuuuuuuu Dum....

I have seen, at a model contest/show, a bright metallic pink Tiger I, with a Hello Kitty logo on the front glacis, with a placard entitling it "Hello Tiger"  LOL

At the same show, there was a very well done model of a large frog, all hung about with straps & harnesses like a draft horse, pulling a light field howitzer.  It was similarly labelled "Toad Artillery"

Oh good gravy.

P.S. If anybody is in need of a good online source for the acquisition of modelkits, I highly recommend Sprue Brothers. (http://spruebrothers.com)  Also a very good armor specific modelling board/forum is at http://www.missing-lynx.com/

D'Oh!  I thought I hit "edit" to tack this on to my previous post.  I must have accidentally hit "Quote"  Pay no attention to the dumbguy.  ;)

You know any good Renault R-35 kits? I am thinking about building a Vanatorul de Care R-35 transformat.

Hobby Boss' kit would be your best bet.

Henk of Holland is a great source for smaller kit information.

RPM came out with a R 35, H35, R 38 kit series in 1:72 that shouldn't be too hard to find or cost too much: http://henk.fox3000.com/Rpm.htm

For more quick buld kits, S-Model came out with a R 35/38 series as well...id start with these if yr looking to get low cost multiple kits that are not advanced to build: http://henk.fox3000.com/sModel.htm

I'm in.  Not sure with what, considering most of my kits have been at least started.

Does it have to be WoT related, or can it be anything?

I own one of those.  I'd use it in Chief's model making thread, but I've already started it :/

Preferable, but if you have neither the kit on the shelf, nor the inclination to build anything non-WoTty, then go ahead and do whatever.

I prefer building models of tall ships {with the sails and rigging etc.}, but that's just me...:)

I just picked up a Tamiya Leopard 1, Chieftain Mk 5, and M41 Walker Bulldog.

Which would you like me to build first?

Edit: I also just picked up This Monster. http://www.amazon.co...t/dp/B00061HIP8 (This build is gonna take about a month or more... yay delays with the photorealistic etching)
